One of the most beautiful places to visit Im talking about the park at the back of the Facility
The heart of recreation and social activity in Nyanga. Long history of vibrant community programmes
Provides services to the community. The offices of Social Development and SASSA. Serves as a gym and a community hall.
Its a place with a lot of activities and you can express your talents
A Best Place to be if you are looking for entertainment and other activities, especially in sports and art.
Great potential for any event 💯

Everytime I visit the center I dont see much most rooms are closed I only see what I came for music things
ZOLANI RECREATION CENTRECape Town is still the best in IsiXhosa education, culture, lifestyle, people, etc.I remember when I joined Nyanga Arts Development at Zolani Recreation Centre in 2009, there by Nyanga Terminus/taxi rank. I joined the drama classes, others joined dance, music and film. We did a lot, I learned a lot. Even more thankful in the arts groups to meet a University of Cape Town (UCT) student telling us to join UCT SHAWCO Masizikhulise free courses. I participated in the Entrepreneurship and Information Technology courses. The community of Nyanga is lively. With the Nyanga Arts Development we showcased our work at Artscape theater, on that day on the audience we even had Pallo Jordan who was one of the first Government Ministers under Nelson Mandela and Thabo Mbeki Presidency. In 2009 he was the Minister of Arts and Culture. His father is AC Jordan, the first black Professor to graduate at UCT. AC Jordan written the TV novel Ingqumbo Yeminyanya, meaning The Wrath of the ancestors. At UCT there are special places named after him.For participating in drama classes with Nyanga Arts Development we would get invites to events around our community, Baxter theater, got exposed to Assitej International programmes, celebrity events, etc. That was my experience with Zolani Recreation Centre.By Sivuyile Sviggy Sesi with Internative Digital @756Writing
