What a lekker classic

Food is incredibly cheap and of great quality. Youre served by inmates who committed soft crimes and are being taught a life skill. Little intimidating to drive up to the initial gate, but just say youre going to the restaurant and the guard will give directions. You then drive a couple of block and park in front of the restaurant. You dont need to sign in or anything. Youre allowed to tip, but only to the cashier who will divvy it up between the servers. Dont tip anyone directly. You wont be in the main area. The restaurant is where the staff houses are, but you will see some inmates working. Their hours are weird. Basically only breakfast and lunch. No alchohol.

Inside the Club you will find the Pollsmoor Retaurant. It is very basic. The food it well prepared and tastes really good. I have been here on several occasions and have not yet been disappointed.The kitchen is run by inmates. :-) All fresh produce comes from the agricultural fields surrounding the prison.I would recommend that you give this a try.Unfortunately their coffee is not the greatest.Their Omelette are out of this world!The Farm style breakfast is also a winner.The chicken Cordon Bleu is also very tasty!Give it a goPlease like my review if it helped you.#LetsGuide #Capetown #pollsmoor

Not exactly the kind if club I ever hope to frequent!Especially given the location.Unless it was some 25 yrs ago and it would allow me to run into Nelson!

Nice when you went there to work not for leisure or fun,the guesthouse furniture is not up to standard and sometimes the houses are not properly cleaned up so its good when you come at night just to sleep and wake up in the morning get back to work
