This post office really angers me.I tried phoning at least twice and they never answer the phone. That is so unprofessional and is very bad service. I demand answers!

This PostOffice will permanently close on 26 August 2021.

I couldnt collect a parcel during Covid as they were closed. When I did go to collect they said I was too late they had returned Parcel to sender. They could not provide any proof of returning the parcel to sender stating they dont have to provide proof. Needless to say the Sender never received the returned parcel. Further to this their credit card machines are always off line. So if you are collecting remember to take cash.

This is so frustrating, the phone is always off the hook. Is there no manager at this branch to see that things work smoothly?

They were closed for quite some time after a robbery and there was no indication of when they will open again. I had to ask on my community group to see when they are open again. Also, their credit card machine was offline today (which meant I couldnt collect my parcels as I didnt have enough cash) and also the last time I visited them some months ago. Apparently according to them it works, but for some reason not in the last 2 times I visited (which were months apart). Also, parking is an issue and the homeless also sometimes make a mess at the parking that is available. Not my favourite post office and I try to avoid it if I can.

This is the best post office Ive ever been too! The gents are always friendly and patient and help out with finding missing parcels. The queues are never that long too. Would hate to move one day as it would mean changing post offices :)

Staff I give a 5 star as they are super friendly and helpful, however their phone number has either been disconnected or doesnt work as ive yet to get anyone pick up on their side.

Basically impossible to get hold of them via phone.

Sadly have to change my original review. This branch is so unloved. No key for the glass door to access our post box. No interest from the teller to tell us when will we get a key for the glass door. Only say it comes form regional. Very sad state at this branch :-( ** original review 2015 This Welsley helped me when the tracking system was offline and he offered to call me back when the system is back on line. Amazing.

Trying to phone post office but call gets cut all the time. How do we get hold of them.

Can someone please provide me with a telephone number? Ive been trying to call on the number on the system but theres no answer. Also no answer at the contact center this is truly frustrating

I was phoned by Siyanda to collect 12 boxes which my son had sent from Korea due his returning to RSA permanently. They were all ready for me in the middle of the back office. I think the other gentleman was Anthon who did the paperwork. Siyanda very kindly put the unwieldy things into a huge trolly box thing. Wheeled them outside and helped me pack into my car. Quite a painful thing if this 61 yr old mother had to carry one box at a time to my car parked a condsiderable distance away...I have only good things to say about this place. New to Cape Town and new to this post office. 5 out of 5 for efficiency and customer care. Thankyou.

Its a post office. You know what youll get. Parking is a bit difficult as there is not a lot allocated. Park before you round the bend in the one-way, otherwise if the parking in front of the post office is full you have to do a full circle route to come back to the post office again.

Closed 3 minutes early, while I rushed through traffic to make it there on time. Dont mind you guys wanting to start the weekend early, but dont ignore me when I knock on your window please. Its rude.

Worst Post office ever, have had 3 parcels returned to the UK cause I was not notified they were waiting for me at mill street..... they suck

Post Office telephone number does not work. Trying to contact the regional office is useless as well as they dont answer their phones either
