I just love coming here, it is away from the maim-stream beach-goers. It is secluded from the howling South Easterly. Safe for kids amd there is a play park area fpr the kids too.

Absolutely the perfect spot for a nice relaxing day at the beach. Jungle gym for little ones, perfect swimming spot and the wind is almost 0 because of where it is situated.

Very pleasant

This park is one of the few outdoor spots around that are wind-free in the south-easter - the bushes shelter it well. it has a great jungle gym that usually has several kids playing on it. the grass area makes for an excellent picnic spot (although with the drought the grass is a little dry) and the beach is perfect for playing ball with the kids. there are no big scary waves as the beach is well-sheltered from the ocean.

The best swimming spot in town

Its ok. Unfortunately alot of building debris around so best u wear flip flops to navigate the beach. Its definitely a dog friendly beach and a great place to take your kiddies for a safe surf. Beautiful view of Table mountain. Nice parking area for easy access on and off the beach.

This is a really cute park for families but since SA is going through the drought, it’s very dry but always a good place to take kids and spend an afternoon on the beach in the small cove :) I basically grew up here and the memories will last forever!

Been our favorite place to come ! Walking distance from Ons Huisie in low tide, walking distance from bird island. No toilet facilities however, but one can use the bathrooms on Small Bay .
