Helena of Genesis Birth Photography did our maternity shoot and photographed the birth of our baby boy. Her professionalism, beautiful and humble nature, and manner in which she worked with us was absolutely amazing. She made us feel so comfortable, resulting in amazing pictures!! Our photos and birth video were provided to us the very next day, the quality of the photos and video were unbelievable and such beautiful memories captured for us to treasure. She managed to catch moments, expressions and emotions so beautifully. Our birth video is so special to us and still brings tears to our eyes every time we watch it. I would truly recommend her to all for the absolutely brilliant service that she provided before, during and after the most special time in our lives!!

Words cant describe how thankful I am for Helena. Due to some complications I have to be put to sleep during my c-section. I was bleeding and extremely traumatised. I woke up in the elevator without my baby, still feeling very drugged and could barely talk. All I wanted to know was if my baby was ok. I missed out on my first born coming into this world. Thinking about it to this day still makes me emotional. When Helena handed me my photographs and the movie she made I was overcome with emotion. Words cant discribe the feeling that I had. Sorrow for not being awake when he was born and joy that I now finally have a precious piece of my lifes puzzel that was missing. I treasure those pictures and will forever. Thank you Helena for the amazing work you do. Your passion and love reflects through the work you do.

Having Helena capture one of the most amazing and important events in our lives, was the best decision ever. The quality of her work is superb. Her gentleness, professionalism and peaceful nature added to making the birth of our son one of the most memorable days in my life and I am so happy that I have to photos to prove it. Helena is amazing. She has a calming very presence. She did the birth photos of our baby girl and also the newborn shoot. With the birth we barely even noticed she was there. She has been a great source of information and somebody to lean on throughout my pregnancy, the birth and during this time after the birth. I would highly recommend her to anybody looking to capture such a life changing event.

Helena is very professional. I have had 4 shoots with her and have thoroughly enjoyed each one, with the most beautiful photos to have as memories. I dont enjoy being photographed, but she has a very calming demeanor which puts you at ease. She captures the moments you so desperately want to keep beautifully. Id highly recommend her to anybody.

Helena did our maternity shoot, my milk bath shoot as well as the birth of our little boy. She was wonderful from the beginning! Very dedicated and organised, and reminded me regularly about things I needed for the shoots (this helps when you have preggy brain!). We got our pictures the day following each event which meant no waiting for weeks. When I went into labour she was at the hospital within 10 minutes. All in all it was amazing to work with her! She is funny too, so it helps to bring out those natural smiles😊 Thanks Helena!
