The university staff are friendly and helpful. Enjoyed my stay there. Its safe and welcoming. The rates are affordable. And I had freedom.

Such a community vibe! The place is quite ideal for students. Its definitely not a extraordinary cozy place but it is suitable enough for an ordinary university student looking for good budget accommodation. The complex houses roughly eight hundred people. 6 of the 7 blocks are self catering with flats of 2, 3 or 4(most common) people. Most of the flats are not coed. Each flat has a kitchen, bathroom, toilet and a passage. One or two people usually have access to the balcony. Medium sized bedrooms.

Home away from home. Perfect for holiday booking during December. You just have to book a room a month or 2 in advance. Block B and E have a nicer view of the Devils Peak. Dont have to worry about security as it is UCT owned, so there are security personnel even during December. There is also a pool if one would love to cool themselves.

Super place to stay at as UCT student. You share kitchen and bathroom, in which you have to keep clean and an agreement among the people staying about cleanliness and other arrangements. Having your own bedroom is nice. You just have to have heart to share with other people from different backgrounds. The maintenance is very good and is done quickly, the reception is very helpful and stuff is very nice and willing to help in anyway

A beautiful student accommodation. Spacious yard with a pool, fountain, trees and big piece of grass to chill on. Theres a computer lab, library and security guards at both entrances. Theres also a common room for student meetings and the house committee has a lot of events throughout the year. Lastly, theres parking space and free laundry rooms.

Stayed here last year. Everything you need is in close vicinity eg Shop, haircut, bar, clinic, pharmacy etc. I also liked the vibe at times but also felt it could be lonely. There are a lot of people so you need to make friends if you dont want to feel like just part of the crowd.

This is a home away from home. One of the most beautiful residences with swimming pool,basket ball court,nice quad,games room,etc. Oh and its close to the uct hockey field.

I took 2 hours to collect one colonel burger, this restaurant is very slow please, dont try to order your food on this KFC Rondebosch please because you will cry after

Spacious rooms and yeah you have the privacy we all yearn for.

I have been stay in this res for two years. All the wardens are welcoming and the forest hill culture is one that makes the place feel like home

Clean, secure and safe place to reside at, whilst studying at UCT or Groote Schuur Hospital.

Although a bit outdated, the view and the vibes of this residence is great. The access control be be a bit irritating at times when you have tons of luggage

Beautiful res, but a little bit old

Just pray to God you dont get put into a flat where you have to share a paper wall with someone. The kind of paper wall that allows you to hear your rommate snore. No privacy whatsoever, and worse part is that it is a second tier res.

Its one of the best student residents in UCT

The place is big an ideal for someone who is social. There are 4 people in most flat.
