Shop very overstocked and thus overwhelming. Stock seems to be overpriced. Music very load and not a good shopping experience. Accordingly to the the owners response, this shop is for youngsters, and not middle aged or older people. That is why the music is pumpin funky. Not recommended especially if you are middle or old aged

Excellent hunting grounds for vinyl collectors , ask the staff and owner for help in locating pretty much any record youre looking for. On the other side is nevernew, if your looking for Chunky alternative jewellery, band patches , belts and bags definitely worth a look . One of the better vintage Shops in the area, wide selection of items sold, and actually qualify as vintage . The owner and staff have a huge knowledge of the music from every decade. Worth taking an hour or two to browse. Look up on the walls of nevernew for band tees .

Nice atmosphere good service. Abit to pricey in my option but one of the few places i can actually find cloths i like and that fit. which is rare.

Great if you love to rummage through some organised chaos. I always find the things I need there.They also have a great selection of vintage cameras and Hawaiian shirts.

Perfect place to buy amazing 70s and 80s even early 90s clothing . Perfect dress up spot. Then the records and lps as we called them . Next level great ! A must go too place.

Great service from Hilgard. With his help I found a few jazz albums today that I have had on the find-that-vinyl list. And Hilgard spinned some pretty interesting tunes that made shopping there much more pleasant.

A lovely place with lovely clothes and lovely music for lovely people.If youre the type to enjoy the strenuous process of digging through piles and rummaging through racks of someone elses clothing so that you may or may not find the gem your closet has been waiting for, then this is place you have to be. Theres a brilliant variety in all sorts of colors, textures and styles. Most of the items Ive found so far have better quality than anything Ive found in the stores in malls, and its probably the most affordable place in Obz. Voom Voom also has a variety of impressive records helpfully split in genres so you can easily find the record that soothes your soul. Theres a listening station so you can venture into a new world right there and then. I love Voom Voom, you will too.

Really sympatic store owner Fred from France, helpful and great selection of LPs and 7 inches in lots of different genres. Prices are also very fair! I got nice stuff there! Really recommend it to any Vinyl Lovers!

The record store plays great music while you can browse rows and rows of vintage and funky clothing. A must visit before a themed party!

Its an awesome vintage shop and plays really cool 90s music. Had a great shopping experience as the staff is very helpful. You can find items for R20 ebile!

Prices are exorbitant - more expensive than retail clothing stores (even for items that werent vintage and were just basic second hand clothes). Was going through the R20-R50 bin and came across a shirt I liked. It had a R140 price tag on it but I figured that that was the old price tag from before it was put in the discount pile. I took it to the counter and the cashier asked for R140. I politely said that I had found it in the R20-R50 pile. He shrugged, offered no apology, and said It shouldnt have been in there, and tried to charge me R140. I stood there waiting for further explanation or something, and he just kept quiet. Its my understanding that if an item is priced or placed in a bin that establishes it as a sale item, then thats how it has to be sold, especially when the error was of the shop to have put the shirt in the wrong pile. Was just disappointing 🤷
