My 4 year old loved this place. Its a tiny museum but filled with great toys that will bring back memories. I only wish that i could afford a train set from there... you know for my son ;)
Unfortunately, this museum needs an upgrade or some new ideas - I love antique toys, but this is making me feel really sad.
My son loves to visit the museum. Always a lovely experience. Nostalgia overload.... Definitely worth a visit..
Its a nice little place to see various toys and also shows you how it has evolved over the years, really showing off the skill of the olden day crafters.
An amazing collection of minature cars, trains sets and other Dinky memorabilia. The display includes a working model train set with amazing features. The detail and variety of this collection is extensive and is a must see when in Simonstown. The collections owner runs the shop himself and he has a good knowledge of the entire collection which includes a number of the Black diamond range.
Good to see all the old and collectable toys
What a wonderful place! My son and I lost ourselves for hours in the amazing collection of toys! Some powerful memories for me (49), and an eye opener for my son (9)!The owner was very friendly and full of interesting facts and observations!Well worth a visit, and again, and again!
Takes you back to your 60s childhood.
If you wanna go back in time and wanna spend on good investment toys come to this place
Wonderful place and products. Very kind owner.
R10 entrance fee is TOTALLY worth it. Amazing varied collection of die-cast cars, some interesting dolls which may, or may not, give you the creeps. Friendly shop owner. 10/10 will go again.
Went there for the dolls but mostly reproduced examples
Large amount of vintage toys.
