Surprised to find a Halaal Butcher in Tokai. The Banner advertising the opening caught my attention. Pleasantly surprised , loved the layout and decor and variety and great opening specials. A halaal butcher in Tokai, situated at Tokai Junction, I was waiting so long for a descent butcher to open in the area. Thank you to the owner/ manager for having such an amazing business, I no longer have to drive out of the area for decent, quality halaal products. I was surprised to find a Butcher with such awesome deals. Great quality meat products, efficient and friendly staff. But on the other hand very disappointed as I purchased in March paid with my card over R800 went off my account. Only to find that my bank account gets debited again 11 days later for the exact same amount from Butchers Market 11 days after my purchase at 4am in the morning.

What a find! I saw a flyer for their R100 end of month specials so I took a chance and left the house to go shopping for the first time in a year. Being high risk Ive been in lockdown for what seems like forever but was I glad I broke out for this. All Covid protocols in place on entry and the gentleman at the front door was an indication of what was to come. All the staff were extremely friendly and helpful and the goods on offer were well displayed and really tempting. There are a number of non meat items available including something I have been trying to buy online since the start of lockdown to no avail ... samoosa pastry. I love making my own samoosas and now I can. I will definitely leave my self imposed lockdown to go back to this store. Highly recommended
