If you are looking for something to do on your Saturday morning, then this is the place to hit. You can browse through the food market, grabbing delicious items that is for sure to tantalize your tastebuds.Find a spot to sit on the communal benches, and chill out listening to a live band while you sip of Gin, Champaign or Coffee, while munching down on the variety of food. This is definitely a cool place to hangout with friends (or family). Dogs are welcome provided they are on a leash. On the opposite side of the market you will find a variety of shops and stalls, offering a variety of clothing, art to furniture. So if you visit the Cape, make sure you add this to one of your destinations.

….So much has changed here since the last time we were here. It’s good to note that they have a good Covid-19 Policy in place. At the boom/entrance you must report to the attendant who sprays your hands with sanitiser and takes your temperature also No Mask No Entree is the order of the day. There are over forty different shops or businesses in this centre. And as much as 8 eateries such as Purveyor Steakhouse, Redemption Burgers and EspressoLab just to mention a few. Good clean restrooms which cater for the disabled are available on different levels. The Silo is still here and there are lift which can get you to the 6th floor. There are ATM’s. Art Galleries, fashion boutiques and the list just goes on. This a nice venue to visit when you have guest from abroad because the layout and style is very international. We together with our guest real-lii enjoyed our visit here. We even got to try the pizzas at Purveyor Steakhouse……..NB! The Wishing Well is still here for those who true-lii believe when they make a wish! Good Luck!!!!......

There are artisan shops where you can buy really nice stuff. If you arriving with a car there is nice paid parking. Before entering security will check your temperature and all Covid-19 measures are in place.

Whether you’re visiting her living in Johannesburg, this is a must see! One of the most beautiful market I’ve seen around the world. Just be careful and come with an empty stomach because there’s so much incredible food to be enjoyed! You can easily kill a couple hours here and not even notice by walking through all the local vendors and shops. Everyone was incredibly kind and prices for paintings, locally made clothes, art, and jewelry were very reasonable.

Visited the food stalls on Saturday (skipped the other stalls). I feel sorry for people making a living in the food industry during the covid lockdown, I know times have been very tough and there has been many days when they had no income. Im however somewhat concerned about the increase in the price of food on offer, my view just too pricey. That is the negative. On the positive side, wow! What an awesome variety of food on offer from all corners of the world, I wish I had the time to have tried all the food on offer, it all looked so tasty.

This is similar to a flea market but only better. There is food, drink, clothes, art and positive vibration! It was vibrant, colourful and the food was totally fab! Felt perfectly safe, the stall owners very happy to engage with you, have a laugh as they peddle their goods. The variety of food pretty cool to: vegan, vegetarian, beef, and the desserts / sweet stalls amazing!

Lovely little place. The reason for my 4 stars would be due to this cute, friendly dog Toby I met there two weeks ago. Absolutely loving lil pup.The clothing stores/shops are nice but the price rather steep for what seems like secondhand things. They did not have a variety of halaal foods either which was a let down and if you seeking for some good coffee whilst browsing, you better off bringing your own in a flask.I got my car serviced while checking out the Old Biscuit Mill so I cannot recall whether or not there is parking bays situated at this place or street parking.Other than that, the set up is cute.

Formerly a dilapidated factory, the Old Biscuit Mill is now home to an array of restaurants, art galleries, fashion designers and course on a Saturday to the Neighbourgoods market, a hubspot for genuine local food, art and design stalls. Brilliant place that had been running since 2006.

Plenty of shops inside the Mill. The market is extremely busy and overcrowded. We have not been here in a while and now the parking attendants charge R20 an hour which I find ridiculously as this is open public space - I am not sure who made this rule but they are also aggressive- they say they work for the Biscuit Mill. The Oranjezicht Market at the Waterfront is a much better option and you get a beautiful view of the ocean.
