Thank you so much for yet another phenomenal experience. From the welcome to my family not being able to choose where to sit. To the patience showed by the waitress. To letting us kniw what to try and whats quite popular on the menu. Paying close attention to the finer details. Then the food comes and yes mind blown. Such attention to detail. Could see and feel the love and care shown for the food. Thank you again. You will all be seeing us soon again.

Decent food, great for familiesI quite enjoyed my sashimi and sushi rolls, they were excellentService was a bit slow, took longer then wed have hoped to have dinner and be on our wayThey dont have a cocktail menu but are happy to mix one up if you askWashrooms are upstairs, just up the corkscrew stair case and then theres two unisex washrooms. If youre mobility impaired the staircase may prove challenging

Nothing fancy; very average restaurant. Sushi was ok but nowhere near the best Ive tasted. Waitrons were friendly but not very attentive despite the restaurant being empty.

Exquisite restaurant. The decor and ambiance sets the perfect relaxed tone. Their Malay Seafood Curry is a must try! Service was impeccable and I love that its family friendly too. This place is definitely a hidden gem.

Had a lunch here recently, the food and service was outstanding. The restaurant was not busy, so I dont know what the service is like once the restaurant is busy. Why not 5 stars, they advertise a micro brewers beer, but dont have stock. Rather remove the offer until stock arrives and is available to serve.

As one would assume from the name, Lemon Butta serves primarily seafood, with a small selection of meat and miscellaneous main dishes. I ordered sushi and was honestly impressed with the quality! Im no expert on the authenticity of sushi dishes, but what I can appreciate is freshness of ingredients and you are bound to find that here.The quality of service was also absolutely outstanding!The overall atmosphere is not spectacular, and might not lend itself to romantic occasions, but if youre at Willowbridge and/or want to grab lunch with friends or family, this is a perfectly fitting location to visit.

Great food, lovely wine and the staff friendly and very professional. We have visited this restaurant a few times and really dont mine driving over 30km just for good food and a very nice venue. The person that introduced me to this restaurant...forever grateful Samantha...👐 we love it.

We ordered a calamari starter to share which was so bland it might as well have been plastic. While the waitperson did concur ( after she tasted it herself) instead of striking it from our tab, she simply gave us 1 free Dom Pedro. The sole was equally bland and chips were straight out of a freezer bag...generic and tasteless.

Since the new owners took over some of the vibe seems to be gone. The food was good but presentation more like ocean basket. Would give it another try in a bit but can improve to get back to its former glory.

Very enjoyable experience. We waited quite long for our food to arrive but our waiter was very gracious and helpful. We had starters but the portions were generous enough.

We visited there on 29 November 2019. Friendly staff. They offer some of the best steaks Ive ever come across. Do give it a try. You wont be sorry!

Salmon was divine.The others had steak & hamburger respectively which also looked, and they said was indeed, good. Prices reasonable, (and they have specials currently, too.)Decor not bad at all, though I think the tables a little on the small side for more than 2 people.( of course, tables can be pushed together.) The background music, thankfully, was not too loudly intrusive-restaurants often get that part wrong. All round, thumbs up to Lemon Butta.

The food and service was fine, but they did not have 3 of the drinks I would typically have. Only have 3 kinds of beer, no tomato cocktail. The normal wine menu was good. Had a very smooth and aromatic Diemersdal pinotage.

First time in Cape Town.Decided to try a local spot and from reviews sounded great.Ordered some drinks which the bar did not know how to make.Instead of letting us know that they could not make it they made them up and proceeded to overcharged us for stuff that was unnecessary.Waiter then told us he had to do what the manager told him.

Very good seafood.can recomend the curry pot fantastic. Had great sushi that was much better than any of normal places i get my sushi. Service was friendly. The manager also interacted about curry pot wanting to know what I thought

It saddens me to rate this restaurant as it used to be one of my favourites. The last three times were awful, and the last one was completely inedible. Their sushi guy is no longer there and he made the best sushi in the northern suburbs. I hope they can turn it around again.

I love the decor, size and location of it. I tried the steak, which was lovely the calamari, which was good and the sushi which tasted amazing!! The service was friendly. And then the desert was really nice and I had an irish coffee which topped it all off. The menu was very versatile but from what I tasted, all of the options should be good. They also had a vast range of wines. Ill definitely be going back

Sushi is absolutely AMAZING. Service was amazing as the staff are very friendly. I just have 1 complaint, there is an odd smell towards the back of the seated area of the restaurant which could be unpleasant for someone who has a sensitive nose.

I Always visit when Im in the area. Great seafood. Recomnended: Prawns, Calamari, Line Fish. Quick service. Sufficient parking though you might have to hunt for a bay for a few minutes. Well worth a visit.

We had the worst experience at Lemon-Butta today.Firstly they did not have the two wines we wanted to order. Then, when my grapetizer came, the tin was shaked and it spilled over.We asked for calamari rings, but received calamari tubes. We also asked for our fish to be grilled in sauce, but received awful, tasteless and mushy fish.The onion rings we ordered never even arrived.Lemon-Butta wont be seeing us again.

What a great experience! Out of experience I can recommend the tuna steak. We were served by the manager himself and what a treat to have received such personal service. Good variety of wines to choose from. Fairly priced.

Looked it up on the web and was excited to go there. When we got there they had a new menu with fewer options and the waiter quickly informed us that 2 other starters were not available, prices also differ alot from the online menu. Disappointed we decided to go somewhere else.

The atmosphere is cozy. The restaurant spacious. The staff are friendly and very helpful. The chef special is a must. Pleasant dining experience. Thank you.

Great fish meal! Had the sole and calamari combo. Incredibly tasty. My colleagues all had fish and concur. Prawn sushi as a starter was a hit. Love the personal touch of the owners Elena and Philip. A definite must.

This restaurant has the most amszing seafood. Great service and amazing cocktails. You will never look back or regret going there. Must admit i have not tried the sushi yet, but i am dying to try it.

Decided to see for myself what the hype was about. So I took my wife with as a treat to both of us. The seafood platter appeared to be enough to feed 2 people. Although the menu indicated rice or chips, we were given both. The platter had some high and low lights. Prawns were tasty, mussels cold and tasteless, fish was delicious but calamari tubes chewy. As we dont eat rice, half the platter full of rice was returned to the kitchen. Experience was a letdown.👎

This venue has a wide variety. Great seafood and meat dishes. Prices were just above average, but not too expensive.

Visited a week ago and not impressed. Table not cleaned from previous diners. No serviettes. A main dish and a dessert we wanted werent available. Waiter never smiled or told us his name. Card machine wasnt working and we had to hang around until it was sorted out. Not a great experience but must add that weve been there several times and had no problems at all.

Bad experience. Average food. Poor service. After 40 minutes with no food or our waiter insight, I enquired about our meal. I was then told 5 more minutes, which ended up being another 15. Through this whole process or lack thereof, no one updated me, at last I questioned the waiter and finally got the truth. Our ticket got lost in process. Mistakes happen, but when they do businesses should take the opportunity to communicate early, truthfully & try to make the customer as comfortable as possible. We found the kids fish very mushy. Bad experience. Definitely lost a customer.

Usually when I come to lemon butta the food is very good but today I was highly disappointing .The fish wasnt fresh and the batter was over done soft and soggy. The sushi has lost its refinement and is mostly rice.

Good menu with some unique and well executed dishes. Good table service and general atmosphere. The bathrooms need a bit of work to get on par with the rest of the restaurant.

Good and well priced fish dishes. Just a disappointment that there was no sole available on the evening we were there. But enjoyed the meal overall.

Atmosphere and service was excellent. I ordered the chicken and prawn salad. Which was excellent pity about all the lettuce though.

Having only visited three times in total, its always been good. They went to extra effort to make the kids comfy which helped a lot, had a mix of sushi and seafood at the table and all round everyone really enjoyed their meal, highly recommended

Food was very average. I had the three calamari dish on two occasions. Both times it tasted overcooked and a bit burnt. The overall service was good so no complaints there. The food was also very dry. I ordered a side order of lemon butter sauce which had way too much lemon in it. Became more of an overly sour butter sauce.

The food is amazing but the kitchen was very slow and it felt like they were missing a waiter. A 3 course meal took over 2 and a half hours. But more annoying then the waiting was that because they were under staffed the waiter wasnt able to be attentive. I dont mind waiting for food, I dont like having to wait long to order the next course though.

Ai Lemon Butta!Service very good, Food very good BUT the visual experience needs an upgrade.From a pasta picture when you do not serve pasta to foreign Champaign in Pongrace boxes! A menu that looks tired. Please get someone to take proper pictures of your food and a little effort with plating will go a long way to restore u to some level of competition with the other more vibrant restaurants in Willowbridge.Also please tell you waitrons what is and is not available so they can inform customers before they order.Might be back.

Atmosphere is great. Food options are good but the kitchen can sometimes be a bit tardy, nevertheless if youre not in a hurry once youve ordered then expect a decent meal. I stick with my original 3 stars

The food was good enough and the wait staff was okay. The waitron memorized our orders for a party of six which was impressive, although he was not very attentive and we had to look for him repeatedly when we needed something. What made our evening worse was when it came to paying, their only bank machine from Nedbank did not accept our credit card, which has been accepted everywhere else in South Africa. The manager did not offer any consolation or explanation. We had to use another card that charges international fees, which is a cost to us. We were not impressed with the customer service. Management must make changes to accommodate different types of international credit cards in this tourist town! Its too bad because the food and waitron had potential, but this experience put a bad taste in our mouths.

Worst service ever. Avoid!! Would give it 0 stars if possible.All attempts at getting the staffs attention was ignored after being seated. Waited for half an hour for service, whilst passing waiters looked straight at us. Left and went to the retailer at the end of the mall and had a lovely lunch there instead.

Great setting and good food. Just a little confused by the wait-staff. No one introduced themself as our waiter. We had three waiter changes and still none of them introduced themself. Very confusing when youre trying to get a waiters attention and you dont even now who to call. BUT, as I said, the food was still very good.

Worst value for money restuarant Ive been to. Ive been here twice, about 5 years apart. I left dissatisfied and disappointed both times.The sushi is so expensive and the quality was bad. Rice was so dry.My wife ordered the hake and it was terrible. Overly saucy. I had the burger and I could taste the salad bits were not fresh at all. The extra avo I asked for was nice though. The chips for both meals were not crispy and just meh.The food is so expensive for what you get, I feel robbed. I thought Id try it again seeing as the last time I was there was so long ago.The service and setting was nice. Hence a 2 star and not a 1.

We visit every week and love the food and the warm welcome we always receive. Fish and steaks are perfect and the chocolate brownie to die for.

What a dissapointing dinner!! After waiting 60 minutes for our order, manager promised round of drinks which realised in one glas of wine - after having to remind the waiter. Just to receive seriously under cooked fish. We have been customers for many years but will not go back. Very disappointed!

No olive oil for the French salad.....they said were expecting delivery following day. Eventually came up with some. The salmon Philip style was very good but had to go back for thicker bit to be warmed up...more seared than medium rare so cold inside.

We have made many great family memories here. The food is always excellent too!

Good food, but the desert was disappointing. Ran out of vanilla ice cream and substituted everything with chocolate ice cream. Dom Pedros are not the same with chocolate ice cream 🙄
