I have ordered from them a few times via the pekish app. The portions are large. Be sure to use the app when ordering. The wait time can be significant at times. The sushi is adequate and presentation is done well . On one occasion they forgot to add the ginger and wasabi to my order , however all other times my order was correct.

Ive been seeing people rave about J&S The Sushi Was yummy, I cant Fault it 9.5 /10 for me , I will be back for more very soon!

My boyfriend and I ordered via the Pekkish app. We heard about J&S sushi, people were raving about it and we love sushi so we had to try it out. When we arrived there, the guy came out asking for our order number which we then gave. We waited about an hour and during that time they didnt come out to let us know what was happening. At one point they brought someone their order, we then asked how long will we still have to wait and the response was, We dont know. After a long wait we eventually received our order but when we checked it, there was only 20 pieces (we ordered a 24 piece) and there was no soya sauce. It also didnt look good, not presented well. I am terribly disappointed and will definitely not be back again.

The sushi is nice however I cant say it makes up for the wait time. I ordered via the app at 1:30 and the only time available for collection was 3:45. Got there on time and no one was there to help the customers. They dont answer the phone and you just have wait till someone eventually comes out. 30mins just standing there waiting and a woman comes out to hand over someone elses order. She walks right pass everyone standing there and goes back inside, not asking anyones order numbers. 20mins later she comes out again and fully intended on walking pass everyone AGAIN, we had to stop her. Another 40mins later and finally comes the food. The food is not presented to regular customers the same way it is to influencers. But the biggest problem was the fact that there was no communication whatsoever. People dont have 2+ hours to sit in their car waiting for food. No customer service, not even a apology. As nice as the food is I wouldnt recommend js sushi to anyone.

Was looking forward to try J&s sushi, only to be told they cant take my order and had no certainty as to when they will be able to take orders again. Also received very bad customer service from the ladies at reception. Dont know if I will go back to actually give them a try.

Youre grassy park branch staff is pathetic. Lack of customer service experience. They need to watch how they address customers!!! And so very quick to take your money. Whats the point of ordering on pekkish if ones order is not done when you get to the restaurant!

I was not impressed at all, and this is based on the following:1) All the sushi pieces ordered had cucumber instead of avo. Who does this?2) The presentation was not great. Everything was soggy and it looked far from how it is advertised.3) There were missing sushi pieces.4) The food was late, and nothing gets communicated in this regard.5) For the service you get and the quality of half sushi given, I feel the prices are not justified at all. Its actually ridiculous.You have lost a customer.

While the sushi is lovely, The service at this place is absolutely disgusting, they dont communicate with customers and dont respond to complaints. When anyone leaves negative feedback on their post on Instagram they delete the comments instead of addressing the issue. DO NOT SUPPORT THIS PLACE!!!

Some of the worst service I had every experienced. I had placed an order before 17:00 to be delivered at 19:00.It is now 20:45 and there is no sign of my order arriving. When I call to ask about my order, a lifeless woman repeatedly assures me that the order is on the way with no explanation nor apology for the delay.Upon expressing my disappointment, she simply cuts the call and I have not been able to get hold of the restaurant since.Apparently the food is amazing however I can assure that the service is horrible.

Sushi is amazing, abit more pricey than the usual places, but if you want to spoil yourself, give this a go

So disappointed in this place! I order through the pekkish service at 4.15pm the app doesnt allow delivery anytime before 6.15pm okay fine Ill wait the 2hrs. 6.15pm comes, still no food. I phoned and the lady says shes going to check on the order she will phone me back, okay cool. No phone call at all, I phone again then she says the delivery guy is 2mins away from picking up the order and now this is a whole hour later. 7.30pm still NO FOOD!! I phoned again she says the food is a few minutes away from me. So now Im waiting outside because Google maps says the place is 12mins away from my location and my family is hungry waiting for supper and shes says the driver is nearby. 7.40pm I phoned again but now shes says the driver just collected my order! Like what do you mean? You said his on his way to me? Lets also keep in mind most food places closes at 8pm for curfew at 9pm. I havent made any food because it wasnt my intention so what do I give my family? Then I had to make a quick decision do I keep waiting since Ive already waited longer than 3hrs or go find a place thats open because everyone is hungry, its Friday night so many places are also full. I had to cancel because I cant take these peoples word anymore. I just cant believe this people get so much attention on Instagram for their service to be so damn bad! Or maybe you just have to be an ig influencer to get proper service. I understand if you guys are busy but the least you can do is have proper communication with your customers and not let people wait 4hrs for food.

Absolutely pathetic service. Ive waited for 2 hours with no assistance. Ive asked for help several times and given my order number. Yet, nothing came.I spoke to the lady, explained the situation and asked for a refund but excuses kept coming. Several wrong orders came out too. I am disgusted.I am aware you are busy but communicate with your customers and dont serve with attitude.The boy muttered under his breath, Ek sal haar kak vertel after I complained. Is this a way to treat your customers.Pathetic.

We ordered off the pekkish app. It took them half hour to accept the order on the app. We then waited another 1.5 hours for our food to be made and then collected by the driver and then another hour for it to be delivered. Only to receive LESS THAN HALF THE ORDER. We were in contact with them the entire time and they stated the food was with the driver. Obviously not happy called them again wanting a refund and they refused full refund for waiting 3hours for food to be made and delivered and then blaming the driver. Absolutely disgusting. We try to support local to get disgusting service but only the influencers get the top quality service as it gets delivered hot to their doors.Pathetic. I would give this zero stars.

I placed an order at just after 3. Then called back about an hour later to adjust my order. Waited for more than 3 hours and counting for my order. Called, was told orders are delayed because of booka. Now please tell me, should I not eat?? Am I not a paying priority? I wouldnt suggest any person place an order with them

Ordered calamari, definitely not as advertised on the menu. Calamari was very hard and over fried. Sushi too much Mayo and sweet chilli sauce.

I ordered at 1:30pm and requested to collect at 5pm, yet stood outside JS Sushi for an hour waiting for my order. Once I ate my sushi, I found that one box of my prawn sushi special were literally just avo inside and the other 10 had prawn, even tho I paid for the prawn crunch special.

Very average. Rice was over cooked and the online menu doesnt match what you get. Received 4 pieces less than what their menu said and was told its probably a typo. Was told my sushi is done but got there and it was still busy frying. The neighborhood isnt exactly the best so waiting outside gives you anxiety. For the best Halaal sushi, go to the Sushiary.

Waited over 2 and a half hours for my food to arrive, and then only received 1/3 of my order. Disappointed with the service, however I did appreciate the timely refund.

New update: I dont understand why people still supporting this business. Maybe there are no so many sushi takeaway spots in those areas they open. Sushi rice is so mushy. The presentation def doesnt look like what they post on social media. Long waiting hours without any communication. They should just offer their food to Influencers for free samples.To be honest, the only reason why i ordered from this place, because they are Halaal. First time i ordered for delivery, i waited for almot one and half hours for my food. Then there was missing order. When i tried to reach to them, nobody ever picked up my phone!!!Second time i went to fetched the food by myself, there were some doggy people walking around in that hood, i did not feel really comfortable as a girl waiting for order alone in my car.Sushi was Ok. You can get same quality food with better prices from other places in that area.
