Fantastic ice-cream. Good value for money. Friendly staff

We were pleased to buy ice cream during lockdown level 4.The ice cream display counter with boxed ice cream was gruby, dirty and unappetizing. I decided not to choose this ice cream.The sift serve was fine. The caramel dip did not have much taste. Personally, I felt R29 for a single serve was expensive. With the dip on one cone, the cost was 65 for 2 pensioners.I felt the shop needed a good clean.

I had a normal soft chocolate treat....but out of this world have to go back and will gladly tell this to ever person I meet because it is GOOD the BEST I ever tested.

Perfect stop for a classic vanilla and chocolate soft serve with a flake. Cant forget the flake😉. The servings are pretty generous so be careful.

Their service is great and their ice creams even more... A must while taking a strol down the boardwalk.

The ice cream is real ice cream. Not this icy crunchy stuff some places sell. The ice creams are enormous. If you want a challenge then order a large cone and see whether you can eat before it melts. The best of the best of the best.

We always go to this ice-cream parlour when we go to the beach. Theres a range of flavours and options. They have soft serve and scoops. They also stock cold drinks. Its about R100 for a family of 4 but so worth it for the size of the ice-cream! The small cone is the usual large if you buy it anywhere else. Id advise you to look at the ice-creams of people who bought before you so you can decide on what you want.Ive found that the staff is not very friendly and there isnt a lot of parking outside of the parlour. There is very little seating and the seats are inside only.

Fast service, at the beach , Good ice cream.

Ice cream is good but concerned about the lack of hygiene. The guy who served me did not wear gloves and worked with the money and did not wash his hands. When I raised this question he was very aggressive. I decided to eat the ice cream and dump the cone.

Fantastic. Value for money

This ice cream shop is a pleasure to visit. Theres a relatively wide variety of ice cream flavours to choose from and you can even buy slush puppies. Other drinks are also available. The young staff are always friendly and smiling and whats on offer is not too expensive. Located right on the beach front this shop is a great place to visit. Seating is available. Queues may however be very long during peak ice cream season.

Today I bought an Ice Cream from NIce in Strand, I ordered a scoop of Chock Dip Ice Cream and to my suprise i found a piece of someones hair inside the ice cream, after almost finishing the ice cream cone I was leaking all over that hair without noticing, VERY VERY dissapointed and Disgusted, only reason i didnt return to give them a piece of my mind was do to the fact that i was already driving on my way home. Really unacceptable. I dont like the fact that they dont were gloves and before the lockdown started I used to go there on the weekends to buy ice cream and there ice cream are delicious, but I will never buy ice cream there again and it was my first ice cream since lockdown started.

This ice cream parlour has been there for quite sometime. Theres a big variety of flavours to choose from. My favourite is blueberry cheesecake. Staff is very friendly and the service is good. Theres always long queues but you get helped very quickly.

Ice cream parlour on The Strand beachfront.Very welcome relief on a hot day. Does not really offer much more than this and cool drinks. Roadside parking so curb affects wheelchair access.

Nice big icecream. Good value for your money

The staff were friendly and patient towards the 2 young kids. The cost for 3 small kids icecreams exceeds that of good quality 1and half litre icecream at Woolworths. So for grandparents very expensive way to treat grandchildren.

I walk all the way from my house in the freezing cold just to have a ice cream but this shop decides to close half an hour earlier. This is the second time its happened. I work late hours. All i want when im sad and tired is an ice cream. The ice cream is really good...when you have access to it. One day. Maybe one day ill be able to get ice cream again.
