An absolutely amazing experience. So you walk in, and its this early 1900s Frank Sinatra vibe as the music plays. Their flavors are soooo amazing, Id probably end up with diabetes. Thats my choice though. Nevertheless, its a must try and a forever return. I just love looking at the chocolate fountain/ tap hoping I could drink from it. 🤣

As someone who is lactose intolerant, finding great ice cream places isnt easy. Moro Gelato makes the best chocolate sorbet (dairy free), and sorbets in general, that taste just as mouthwatering and delicious as their dairy counterparts.The staff are super friendly as well.

Definitely my most favorite place to get Gelato in Cape Town. The staff are always super friendly and welcoming, and they always have a wide variety of flavors. Their vegan gelato is also our of this world! They are a bit pricey, but considering the quality of the gelato I would say its worth every cent.

The best ice cream that Cape Town has to offer. There are always amazing new and daring flavours to try, an expansive vegan range and some delicious old favourites. The peanut paradiso is so creamy it makes you wonder how it could possibly be vegan, by far my favourite. Dont forget to choose white or milk chocolate for your wafer!

For sure its a good creamy ice cream but the whole experience is not very nice. You cant taste the ice cream and you cant even see it. So you have to randomly choose and hope that you like the flavour because its expensive.

This Ice-cream place is very pretty but fairly impractical. The colour scheme makes the sign board impossible to read from most angles in the store. I dont know why this bugged me so much but honestly it is super necessary that a place selling food should be to have a visible menu for ease of use.The continuously running chocolate taps are cool. The ice-cream itself was okay. It is not Pauls but it is not bad.

One of the pretties gelato shops in Cape Town and is very reasonable priced for the quality of the ice cream, which in my opinion is top notch.It also has the best flavoured pistachio gelato I have found so far outside of Italy.The staff are all very friendly and helpful when you cannot decide on which flavour to try this time.They also have a large selection of vegan gelato which is called sorbetto.Highly recommended!

I’m going to be honest, I’m not huge on ice cream but I’ve been craving ice cream. I’ve been eyeing Moro Gelato for 2 weeks and finally caved in to my cravings. I honestly feel embarrassed that I haven’t tried them sooner. This is by far the best ice cream spot in Cape Town! They have so many flavors and the staff are nothing short of incredible. We opted for a small cone with granadilla and nocciolata. I kind of wish I got my own cone since I underestimated how good it would be. As for the staff, they made the experience even better by being so cheerful and even regarding us as family now! I can’t wait to go back tomorrow 😋

This store is more than a store the look and fee is awesome and so inviting and happy. You will smile when you see it I guarantee you. Also when you taste the Gelato you will say OH MY GOSH. The waiters or scoopers were so helpful and friendly. Go check it out you will love it and get addicted.

I had the BEST experience at your sea point location. Every staff member was personable and kind even though they were trying to close to make it home before curfew. We were the last customers and they made us feel welcomed and not rushed. Samantha in particular was so friendly and hospitable. This place makes real Gelato, second only to the real Italian stuff. Amazing Gelateria to visit, it has such an amazing variety of flavours and you can get two flavours even when you order a small serving, never seen that anywhere else. I recommend the rooibos is gelato if you are looking for that South African infusion.It is so well decorated and light and it just feels so fancy. The staff are always so helpful and happy and their banter just makes the vibe that much better. There are no places like the Moro Gelatos in Cape Town.

Honestly the best Gelato this side of Italy. In fact, better than some of the highly rated places I tried in Italy. All the flavours are good but the tiramisu, pistachio and nociolla are amazing.

As a regular for years, their quality and flavours have been consistently amazing! Always warm and wonderfully received by the staff. IMHO the best Gelato in Cape Town.

Best service ever! Friendly staff give recommendations and explain the menu. Excellent Covid hygiene practices. Every flavour I have tried so far has been delicious, especially Marchese. I was hesitant to try the sorbet flavours because I thought they might be watery or not as creamy, but after trying the hazelnut sorbet (which is also vegan) I cant get over how super creamy and decadent it was. I love that there are lids on each gelato flavour to keep it cold and keep it hygienic.
