I definitely recommend Mojo Hotel. We stayed in the 4sleeper Studio apartment with a sea view. It was amazing. Spacious and had a bath with hand shower, a huge walk-in closet and the loft on top had 2singlebeds and was nice and spacious too. It is perfectly located with the Mojo Market at the bottom and the perfect view. The only down side was that the kitchenette did not have basin area and we had to wash our crockery and utensils in the bathroom sink. This location is ideal for groups and perfect for a girls night out. The staff is very friendly and helpful.

The hotel was filthy. There were students having a party from 10pm-4am in the morning making a hell of noise. Reception did nothing to control them. Staff is not friendly. Would definitely not recommend because it feels like you’re staying in a university residential house 👎.

The place is nice and clean but there were things that were not functioning well, the drainage system was slow, the shower was leaking and during loadshedding there is no back up, they dont have a generator and well you just sit there and wait. The room upstairs has a roof or ceiling so low I kept bumping my head, and Im very short.

Great location. Mojo market is awesome. WiFi was good. Our room was clean and the beds were comfy but it didn’t have a window. The shower did not drain well, you had to shower really quick as to not flood the bathroom (shower pan was shallow, no bathtub). Bring some wine up to the rooftop and enjoy the sunset views!

Mojo is a very nice and accommodating hotel for vocation especially for couples, the only thing that must be changed or reviewed is cleaning staff. If they dont communicate to the staff their hired to clean they will definitely lose business. We were booked for 5 days with my partner and we enjoyed ourselves the only problem we had was the dirty place which was not cleaned properly on daily basis, which is very dangerous cause there is COVID 19.

My partner and I went to the food market and not the hotel. I like the food market because they have something for everyone. We went on a Sunday. On entering your temperature is taken and your hands sanitized. It was nice and quiet, not many people yet. I had a shwarma and my other half had a lamb spit braai dish. Both were lovely. Theres social distancing as seats have been spaced accordingly. Im glad to see that all staff were wearing masks. Only people that were eating took theirs off. When we were done eating and left the table, a lady came to disinfect the table. It was a lovely day, so once we were done eating, we took a walk to the beach

Never ever will they see me again and I am a booking.com Genius Level 2 traveller. The place is excellent and room is good and its in exactly the right position.PROBLEM! :They have person from Mexico running the place (RSA has zero unemployment so they can not find a person that can understand in our country-weird)I was told booking.com cancels your booking, if you order with debit card???So, I went there a day before hand to pay them a day before. Then I extended the stay again, and then I was woken at 22h20 on Sunday night to come and pay and I said, Ill pay at 00h00. I went there on 00h01 and there was nobody. The above was paid, wrongly, to booking.com and I had to pay double AND TREATED LIKE A CROOK, THAT WOULD RUN IN THE MIDDE OF THE NIGHT, AND THE PROPERTY CANCELLED THE BOOKINGS MYSELF, RESULTING IN THIS MESS!If we start running our country again by foreigners and 60% arent working, you better get the right person that can understand, so you can back them. NOT THIS WAY!

Pros: Location is great, right next to the food market and by the sea. The facilities were modern and clean and there is a nice rooftop.Cons: Twin budget rooms are tiny, they do not have a window and the walls are paper thin. There was a frosted window leading to the room next door, so whenever they returned home and turned on their light, our room lit up too. The maid came everyday but only ever made up one of the twins beds and always left the other bed unmade (even though both had been slept in).Budget rooms are fine for a night, just upgrade if you are staying any longer and want some ventilation.

Nice hotel to book in, staff were friendly most of our time being there. We had a room and had a sight overlooking the sea on the balcony. You can also ask the cleaner to clean your room while you explore CPT.. The mattresses was nice and clean, its just the double bunk beds that was little uncomfortable to sit on/get in or out of... Safe secure parking at the back of hotels premises. Perhaps a TV or clock radio can be placed in rooms..

At first sight, Mojo hotel is well situated, enjoying the Sea Point view and a great food market just next door. It has a good (hostel) vibe and decoration. However, it is terribly managed. In the week that I stayed all these things happened: one guest got robbed within the premises, one guest got assigned a different room than she had booked and the fire alarm went off for no reason in the middle of the night. To top it off, I got to my room one day and all my stuff was gone, and someone elses stuff was already in my room. Apparently the hotel thought I was leaving a day early. HOW FUN. Instead of giving me back my room (a pod), they assigned me another one on the 1st floor. Two beds, quite nice, but they forgot to mention to wear ear plugs, because you can hear EVERYTHING. People walking in the hallway, screaming at 2am, etc etc... I would recommend just finding a proper hotel and not whatever mix this is.
