This get away is a hidden gem. The property has a massive garden, for walks or just for chilling in sun. There is also a pool and a small stream that runs through the premises. The staff are extremely friendly and polite. The overall atmosphere is very relaxing. Situated in Houtbay...close enough to the beach,main roads and harbour. Will definitely revisit.

Definitely one of the best accommodations during our trip! The rooms are very nicely decorated and the outdoor area a dream. The breakfast was really excellent and the service in a class of its own. The owners are very cordial and give many tips. Very child friendly! We would book this accommodation again at any time.

Fantastically beautiful and well maintained lodge with a few individually decorated rooms, huge garden with river and large lounge area only for the guests. The German hosts and their team leave nothing to be desired!

An ideal starting point is relaxing to explore the Cape region. The stylishly built Thulani River Lodge is embedded in an attractive park landscape with the Table Mountain massif as a background scenario. The loving and rich breakfast is the ideal start to the day.

Relaxing accommodation. Breakfast very German and delicious. Room very nice, however without air conditioning. Owners are German and can give great tips. What bothered me now was no fridge in the room

We stayed at Claudia & Hartmuts four nights almost two years ago. They take wonderful care of their guests, everything is in top condition, and breakfast is something for connoisseurs.As a travel expert, I can recommend the lodge to both families and couples. Especially if you are in South Africa for the first time, you will feel very well cared for in the Thulani Lodge. The guests get lots of tips and a local cell phone. We never used the cell phone, except to reserve a table - but it feels good. The two recognized that, like many others. Thats why 5 stars convinced!
