We really enjoyed our stay here, the staff as well as the lady were very friendly and they attended to all our needs. We were even offered a better room that the one we booked for. The place is well kept and right at the beach with great vibes, absolutely loved it. Definitely coming again.

This is a stunning and clean place, with a beautiful view of the beach. We really appreciate the friendly staff(more especially George). Upon arrival we were given a better room with a beautiful view which was not what we booked in the beginning. We enjoyed our meals at Mint Cafe. I highly recommend it 🤗

Location is brilliant thats a definite winner, however, the place needs an upgrade. They moved us to a much better room but we struggled to flush the toilet and the basin was blocked and the water was not draining properly. It was not pleasant.

Very friendly and accommodating staff. Lovely big rooms, but lighting in the rooms is not great, shower is way to small even for someone as lean as me, towels and bedding not up to scratch.

Horrible.We asked for non-smoking rooms and theres smoking all the time filtering into our rooms. Paid for 6 nights :(. Trying to get a refund to move to a place that is non smoking and I am having a challenge:(

Had to cancel our booking via booking.com and now struggling to get our refund as per the T&Cs. Nicole at the hotel has promised the refund but the monies have still not been refunded despite chasing.

Stayed 4 days and loved this place. Quality rooms. Fantastic location. Excellent value. I want to go back.

The staff went an extra mile for us..they were so great and so warm. I have been to a lot of places but I have never met a staff with such humanity.

Did not stay the room I booked online was not the room they wanted me to check in, they did refund me immediately. Reception was very rude but office lady in Durban central reservations was helpful and friendly and did apologise, not the arrogant male reception worker.

The Fairways is an amazing guest house at a reasonable price. The views are amazing, the food at their restaurant is good. The staff is helpful and professional. I suggest the Atlantic room, its gorgeous.

Excellent place to stay in Cape Town. Fairways has an awesome location and the rooms are big and clean. Staff are very friendly as well and the included breakfast at the cafe on the beach was very nice.

We had a great time and were moved to another room 3 times after complaints at reception.Breakfast was only available in the adjacent cafe and then only for 120 rand per person.The location is great.Sticky varnished wood toilet seat and dirty windows.At the price I expected something better.Everyone was very friendly.

The rooms are pretty dated, nothing works (we were told that too) and everything is moldy in the bathroom. There is no breakfast in the hotel but you get vouchers for a breakfast in the cafe next to it, which only opens at 8 oclock.The safe didnt work either, which is why I hid my money in my backpack. As it had to happen, the money in my room was stolen, unfortunately I only noticed it at home (I could, however, limit the period to exactly one day). There is no response to my e-mail inquiries, so the one who stole the money should burn in hell.Unfortunately, the hotel is totally clean and not worth 20 € / night, there are better hotels / accommodations in Cape Town, and Im pretty sure of that.Edit: For people who like to spend their vacation in Mallorca at Ballermann, this location (Camps Bay, right on the beach) is probably perfect. But not for people who want their peace and quiet.
