Delicious coffee and Prego Steak Rolls. Inexpensive. Definitely recommend it. And will be back

I do enjoy this place. Everyone is welcome and treated like family. It is part of my daily schedule. A place where friends meet. Comfortable and good music.

It was my first time being there but i will say i felt so relaxed, comfy and at home. It was indeed a beautiful place to be. I cant wait to be there again. Some places i go to and i would be in a hurry to wanna leave. But, for kings hotel, i could just stay the whole day there coz i felt very safe and happy.

Vibe is super and prices is competitive.Nice time and certainly going again.Toilet is clean.Did not book a room so cannot comment

TV did not work even after requesting help from reception twice, no one came to assist. No breakfast offered. Had to call reception twice about breakfast, eventually had to go check only to find out there was no breakfast. WiFi password was incorrect.

Whatever you do, dont even think about booking accomodation here! No breakfast is offered at all! Rooms are super small! No parking!! Disgusting service!! Worst hotel I have ever stayed at!!!

Having a group of people together makes it easy to have a great vibe. The Ethiopian restaurant made incredibly delicious authentic chow. Definitely has the East African vibe going for it. That, combined with a top class 7 piece blues band playing led to the start of a spectacular evening.

Staff might be strict in regards to entering with luggage but they are very friendly and helpful. Its a very relaxed and fun place. Ive never had the chance to eat but Ive hung around the Gamblin community and they definitely a fun bunch

Simply the best... Very nice food from the restaurant and bar, function, very nice rooms from the hotel, nice slot machine area and then kind and well educated staff. So tough to be disappointed!

The place was nice,shower is great,location I good because theres so many shops around,the cons are,theres no telephone for house keeping so you have to phyically go look for someone to get towels or 2point plug,There was holes in the towels and no sanitary tissues for dusty surfaces... would I go back,I guess I would due to the price...

Its an okay place ...really not the greatest place ...so my strange characters that come in but was nice for what it was worth

I stayed from the 2nd October till the 19th. Me and my partner enjoyed out time here, the location is right in the heart of the mother city. Theres so much to see and do in Cape Town and having this hotel right in the middle of it all is what we loved. Just step out the door, pick a street to walk down and see something new ... The hotel itself looked great, everything was well thought through regarding decor. Our room looked amazing, blacks, reds and whites made up for the colour scheme, and with high ceilings giving the room a grand look. Having an air conditioner unit made a big difference, very easy to use and made our sleep and stay more comfortable. Breakfast every morning shouldnt be missed out, you can enjoy a coffee, cup cake, juice and yogurt before the friendly staff (Oscar was our favorite, great cheerful guy) will take your order for a full English cooked well by the head chef ... Over all a really good place to stay if you wanna experience a full and busy city getaway - id recommend this place and id be very happy to stay here again ... Thanks to the team for making our stay a pleasant one :))

Nothing fancy but not bad either

The service is slow when you order food its served cold eg. A hot breakfast. Staff and management are hostile and rude and nosy. The building us run down and the stair way very dangerous! Its very noisy on weekends as the have public singing on loud speakers with awful loud music till early hours of the morning in their rwstuarant area so theres no sleep whatsoever for those that need it. Quality of everything is appauling. And low class..bleh.
