The venue is Huge never knew its 3 blocks down amazing with hotel and apartments, the place was nice clean beautiful and thanks to the manager Megan whos hospitality service was excellent and made our stay amazing, through out our stay she was on duty from 7am till midnight which was a change to see a manager been hands on and helping all her staff and the guests. This is truly above and beyond. Keep up the outstanding service.

I enjoyed the neat and well furnished room. The breakfasts were excellent. We just wanted remote control access for the gate because every time you have to leave your car to ask the receptionist to open or close the gate when we arrive or leave the premises

I got Problems from time I booked, the girl working there first booked the wrong dates of which we corresponding by email all information there, the manager correct it emailed back with rite invoice. When we got there the same girl Olga said we cant drink in rooms all the other people were drinking in rooms she told us breakfast stop at 11, when went for breakfast it was finish the manager said it stop at 10-30.Clearly that Olga girl dont know what she doing and should not be at reception she sound stupid when she talk to people she dont show us how TV works nothing.If it werent for that manager the stay was a total disappointmentThe place is prettyManager is nice, room clean, wish it was hot because the pool looked so swimmimable.

Dear Management,Mind you I am writing this as I had sent an e-mail yesterday at 2.06 pm and still have not received a response nor phone call.We had arrived and planned to watch the Rugby - No DSTV. I had to use my own account. Own expense !We then wanted coffee - There was nothing. I had gone to Reception and asked, but as helpful as she was, I got decanted coffee in a little sugar bowl and milk from the coffee station in a milk jug.Practically speaking, there was no plug by the kettle so we had to boil the kettle next our bed, on our side table. Not only dangerous but that just doesnt make sense. Imagine being at home and boiling your kettle next to your bed ?!We couldnt watch the Rugby, because I kept getting kicked out of the WIFI - We then resorted to watching Netlfix. We couldnt watch a movie finished because we kept getting kicked out of there too.Our neighbours and guests around the pool area were playing music so loud we could barely hear anything on my cellphone - Because we were then forced to watch on my phone. So back to my own Netflix on my phone with my own data.Our Aircon didnt work. We wanted to warm the room because we had just taken cold showers.We had then decided to run a bath, we couldnt, the water had turn cold and there wasnt enough water for my legs to even be covered.My husband decided to take a shower - ICE COLD!!! There was no hot water.Our bath towels were extremely hard ! I am not even exaggerating but it actually was quite abrasive on my skin. I had then used my husbands towel just so that it was wet and softer to dry with.There was no body wash or shampoo, only conditioner and body lotion. Not that we had expected these things, because we had brought our own. When I had asked my husband to pass me the conditioner after washing my hair the next day (Mind you still in cold water!!!!) I had found out it was actually lotion I had put on my hair in the shower and they had put lotion in both the lotion container AND the conditioner container.During the night, I tried watching something again, managed to watch a bit and then got kicked out of Netflix again, and the TV remote stopped working and my husband had to get out of bed to switch the tv off himself. Back to the phone, my own Netflix, my own data.Not a glass to use, nor even a bottle of water. Again, perhaps the water would be pushing it.Needless to say, we were totally livid at this entire experience.I also just need to tell you that we had stayed at the Hotel before, got the garden suite, but had the best experience. Hence wanting to come there again. We are totally disappointed and very angry, we couldnt wait to get out of there.

Booked with my family so the kids can enjoy the pool since the beaches are closed. Thanks to the lady Miss Meagan who made our stay amazing and comfortable she make you feel at home , I only went to reception when I knew she on duty.The apartment bit dirty doesnt look like the cleaners clean properly I asked for cleaning utensils to clean myself. The manager running hotel dont look like he knows what he doing and cant seem to count. All in all amazing stay quiet pool had to much chlorine we still enjoyed it and will definitely go back.Special they had price was good.

I will NEVER stay in this revolting dump ever again...Besides the shocking service and dirty rooms we were treated like absolute children.Firstly the person who serviced us initially got everything wrong with regards to the rooms and pricing and told us all the wrong information..Then there was a bottle of 2L milk left in the corner of our room that was about to explode from being so off and left so long so goodness knows how long that room had been left like that......I cannot believe we were treated like kids and told if we leave and get back after 10 we will be charged extra.My girlfriend got back at 9:00pm from work and we wanted to go get something to drink and eat and were told we will be charged extra if we not back at 10:00pmHow do you go out and have dinner and be back in time?Customer service? What does this mean anymore?Absolutely SHOCKING service, disgusting rooms and horrible negative energy in the entire place...Honestly the worst experience of our lives

Myself and my Fiancé throughly enjoyed our stay this weekend at the Grande Boutique Hotel.. It was my 30th birthday getaway and it was an absolute bliss!! 😁... Megan and Sairu was very welcoming, accommoding and friendly. We will definitely be returning. Thank you Megan and Sairy for your wonderful service!! 10/10!! 😊

This place is so nice i had the best time.the staff is extra friendly and the view is amazing!!i am definitely staying here again when i come. We came all the way from Botswana and it was lovely

There was no soap. After requiring for it, the answer was that they were out of stock. The room had a terrible smell to it with lots of mold against the blinds that could have been cleaned very easily. The pillows and mattrass was beyond poor quality. When I gave feedback about this, there excuse it was due to Covid and is was a standard room as if that made it acceptable. The grass was also not cut which made the room even worse as our room had a garden view. The breakfast was great and reception friendly when booking. However I will definitely not recommend the place.

The facilities and staff service is exceptional just the lady by the name megan was racist full of threats wen we arrived she checked us in and didnt show us all our rooms we spent our stay ther without knowing we had a lounge on the other side so heartbreaking to find apple like her to work with gurst having an attitude like that💔

1 of the most beautiful hotels Ive been to at such a reasonable rate. Each room is unique, beautiful decor and very neat. Warm hospitality thanks to the lady (Megan) who works there who made our stay as comfortable and enjoyable as possible. She catered to all our needs with such a huge smile, really great asset to this establishment. Enjoyed their dinner and the outside set up with bonfire.... Keep up the good work.

We are regulars at the Grand Kloof Hotel and always recommend our family and friends to stay. The staff are always friendly and go out of their way to make our stay comfortable. We would like to compliment the new management team, especially Peter John for his efforts in going the extra mile. He has created a warm and welcoming atmosphere ....... great value, will definitely be back .

The most unprofessional service that I received from the Manger that was employed at grande kloof.I was scammed by the manager PJ that was employed at this place he whatapp a voucher and when I called grande kloof to redeem it Megan the manager that is now appointed said that it is not valid and unfortunately can not be redeemed. She was so rude and did not allow me to speak worst service ever.

Good MorningMy husband booked a room for 2 adults online, however when we arrived at the hotel we were told it was a backpackers room. This was not shown on the online booking. The communal shower had no hot water. Your guy Alex was called on numerous occasions to assist with the TV, but he did not show. Not very happy.

It has been close to 3 months and my refund has not yet been processed. I have been calling and emailing the manager several times and the only thing I am being told is that the owner of the hotel will process it. It feels like I am being taken for a ride.SafariNow processed their portion of my refund on the 20th of August. It is now the 27th of October and I have not received the hotels portion of my refundAs a reputable hotel, you are required to treat ALL customers with the same respect regardless whether they cancel bookings or not.This is extremely unprofessional and disrespectful. I am highly disappointed in your service.

This Time it was only James that visited, however the smile on his face tells me they enjoyed their time and were Well looked after.

Staff and management are very friendly and welcoming. The family suite we had was perfect for us and was clean and serviced daily. We would definitely stay there again.

My son was booked in at the hotel for 7 nights, after 2 nights he was asked to vacate the room because he broke hotel rules, which the hotel could not prove, i ask for a refund for the remaining nights, Meagan refused to give a refund, Meagan is very unprofessional.

Beautiful location protected from our famous South Easter, reasonable service, friendly staff and very clean and neat environment. Excellent for company functions and getaways. Will most definitely visit it again.😊

Very unfriendly front desk person who has no customer skill at all. No door at the bathroom, its like an open plan that is really uncomfortable when using a toilet. Classic was a 10 o clock carfuw which I still dont understand like we at some boarding school. Overall bad experience

The Boutique Hotel is run down and in urgent need of attention, from the decor to the staff!! I agree with the previous guest, it was dirty, had to ask for coffee, then for toilet paper and then for towels! A big disappointment for what was suppose to be a great long weekend!

Lets start with the good: the location is walkable to both shopping and beach areas, the view is lovely from the big patios, the size of rooms are generous, and Luke (a gracious and helpful manager) is an asset to their team. The parking area is secure.Cons: The rooms are lacking many amenities expected at the price point of this hotel (let alone one which claims to be a boutique hotel)- this includes basics such as tissues and hangers. We stayed in their nicest room, but our furniture was showing big signs of weae and our blinds to our bathroom were broken. Not all other staff are as helpful or friendly as Luke (especially the morning, male receptionist). The parking is tight.

Great hotel, location and staff. I just dont understand why the hotel industry is choosing to have the restroom open to the rest of the room. Its just dumb.

Great value for the price. Location is in a safer area of Cape Town. 5 minute walk from a dozen great restaurants and a short driving distance to the coast, downtown and the V&A Waterfront. Staff were highly accommodating, friendly and provided great advice in regards to sight seeing etc.

This is a great place to relax and just be. The only issue I have is why must I pay double as a walk in client. If I book online I will pay between R 550 & R700 but if I walk in I pay R1200. Im local and yet pay more...

Great place to stay, nice rooms, garden area for lounging, as well as a sauna & jacuzzi. The only weird thing was the bathroom did not have a door!!! The door was not broken of or anything, it simply was designed that way with a frosted glass partition between the bathroom and bedroom.

This is the best hotel, the staff treats one like a king. Very close to the main road in sea point and promenade. I enjoyed my stay and will definately be going back soon.

We stayed there for a weekend getaway and had the best service imaginable. Real little gem hidden in the City of Cape Town. The rooms are beautifully appointed in a minimalistic style and the privacy was mentionable.Definitely worth a return visit

We stayed at the grand Grande Kloof Boutique Hotel for my wifes 50th birthday and I must confess this is the best hotel Ive stayed in to-date. The service was 5 star and the staff were the best Ive ever experienced, friendly, warm and very welcoming. To Cameron, Alex and the rest of the staff at Grande Kloof well done guys you were exceptional and keep up the good work. To the people who want to visit Grande Kloof you will not make a mistake, believe me. I will definitely be going back there very soon.

I booked a two-bed apartment with the Manager who confirmed that it was in the hotel and suitable for visitors with a 4-month old infant. The apartment they put us into was, to say the least, dirty and despicable with just about everything broken and in disrepair – to list just a few:1. Broken window2. Kitchen cupboard handles missing and nails exposed3. Mismatched handles in the kitchen4. Filthy washing machine which in fact was broken and therefore unusable5. Cupboard hinges in the bedroom were broken and doors were unhinged and broken6. Insufficient cutlery and crockery and what little there was, was dirty7. The dustbin had no lid, resulting in bad smells throughout the sitting area and kitchen8. The toilet was unhygienic with dark stains in the toilet bowl9. The stove was disgusting10. Dirty plates – we didn’t want to cook on any of them for fear of illness11. No aircon in any of the rooms at the height of summer12. Outdated and worn-out furniture13. Only one room key given to a family who comes and goes at different times, so obviously need more than one14. No cot for the baby which we were promised when bookingAfter we complained, your Managers were helpful and arranged for us to move into the hotel as it was obvious the apartment was totally unlivable and especially unsuitable for a small baby.The room we were moved into mid-way through the week was better but still nowhere near a 4-star grade. It was also furnished cheaply, the safe was broken and the drain was blocked. We could hear other guests using the Jacuzzi well after hours, which disturbed our and our babys rest.The staff work very hard but are totally under resourced and and cant possibly cope with the demands. The tattered flags outside and run-down state of this hotel should give anyone a clue that it is NOT a 4-star establishment which it displays on the wall, and the photos on the website are well out of date and misleading.We are accustomed to high-living standards and to pay for a holiday in neglected and unclean establishment, which poses as 4-stars is misrepresentation. We have written to the owner to relay our experience but have heard nothing back. Book this place at your peril! Id be very surprised if they remain open for much longer.

Took the self catering option. Did not even have soap to clean the dishes for re-use and the dishes was not even washed after the cleaners left the room.

The original hotel accommodation is fantastic, however the additional rooms at the back just take away everything unfortunately. Noisy beds, missing furniture in the rooms, light filtering in while trying to sleep...

Poorly handled booking - rooms not in keeping with website pics and standards. No fridge as told and no light bulbs replaced in room.The booking was made via a booking website - when arrived we were asked why we would use the website despite being South African - the booking for three was only registered for two and as a result we were shunted into a substandard dormitory like room with 2 bunk beds and not even a fridge or working lights.Not in keeping with usual integrity and South African standard - very substandard
