A big thank you to the friendly, gracious hosts and staff at Wind Rose. I have spent two months here. The silence is great for the soul. Absolute peacefull bliss. The surrounds are stunning. Wind Rose is envloped by the magestic mountains and the ocean is very close by. I had some much needed R&R. Thank you! When you visit Wind Rose you really have to take the ocean drive to Hermanus. Watch out for the whales and dolphins. After that road trip you will never want to return home. I highly recommend Wind Rose. The rooms are beautifully decorated and spotless. I fell in love with the huge bed. Enjoy the crystal clear swimming pool, have a braai, put up your feet and enjoy watching an African sunset with Cape wine. You really dont need anything more than what they provide. Again, a big thank you, Peter and Carola. Stay Blessed always

The experience was just fine. Comparing it to places I have been before and comparing the value for money. Still a nice place surrounded with mountains. Just remember you need to enter the place via dirt road.

Lovely place. The hosts are really great, very friendly and informative. The gentleman showed me around and informed me of all amenities. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. Air con is available. The swimming pool area kept me entertained and relaxed all day while having a stunning view of the mountain. There is plenty of parking on site, security gates and the gardens are vast with multiple areas to relax in. I would highly recommend Wind-Rose Guest House. I think I will become an annual regular guest. Very well priced, excellent value for money

Four of us stayed at the Wind-Rose Guest House in March this year. We really enjoyed our stay because not only that the rooms, the garden, the pool and the breakfast area are really nice and cozy but also the two owners and the rest of the staff were the nicest and most welcoming people. One of us depends on wheelchair accessible facilities and that was also no problem here. If I ever come back to Capetown or Gordons Bay, I would stay here again!

This was our second time at Wind-Rose and it was great! This time around we brought our kids and they had so much fun. Clean rooms, excellent customer service, beautiful views, well kept Garden and awesome superhosts/owners Carola & Peter went above and beyond to make our Christmas stay a memorable one. The hosts Peter and Carola are amazing. Such a warm friendly welcome. The garden is beautiful. One of the best sunsets we experienced. One of the best most peaceful sleeps. Breakfast was great overlooking the garden and a stunning view of Gordans Bay. You would love it too!!

Wind-Rose is a lovely guest house with stunning gardens and view. The hosts, Peter and Carola, were very friendly and welcoming and made us feel at home. Our boys really enjoyed swimming in the pool and the whole family had an enjoyable and relaxing time here.

Beautiful and peaceful place. Rooms were kept cleaned. Enough towels ect, However I cannot stress how disgusted I am by the level of customer service I received from the owner Carola. We had friends over which is allowed. Confirmed that its 4 friends as that was the initial plan two extra people joined which I stress I was not aware of and the owner confronted me and accused me of lying to her.There were three children as we all know kids are playful this lady actually got annoyed with the children playing. I would not recommend this place and lastly I would Recommend you go for customer service training, @Carola.

What an amazing place! Its beautiful, its peaceful. Its very nice for a get away from the noisy city. Our kids had the best time ever. The owners and staff were extremely friendly. We will definitely go back.

Have stayed @ Wind-Rose on a weekend away for my Birthday in September 2017. The place is clean and neat, the owners are very welcoming and friendly, they were very helping in advising the go to see areas. Their rooms a spacious and their decor is beautiful, have that african theme I liked the place a lot. I will definately recommend Wind-Rose Guest House and would like to visit the place again sometime.

Im not sure where to start.Peter and Carola our hosts are great and very knowledgeable about whats available in the surrounding area not that youd want to get away from the peace and tranquillity Windrose has to offer. Breakfast was excellent. The staff are always willing to assist even if its just to greet you and offer a smile.Rooms spacious and cool which is great when it gets hot here and believe me it can.Heres where the pool brings a pleasant relief.I would like to thank Peter and Carola for making our Xmas staycation a most memorable one.We will be back. Had a great holiday in ZA thanks to the new owners of Wind-Rose Guesthouse. The rooms are super modern and fully equipped. The bathrooms are beautiful and spacious. De Wind-Rose has a beautiful well-kept garden with a nice swimming pool. The personal contribution of Carola and Peter is present everywhere, for everyone there is time for a pleasant conversation, especially during breakfast they provide a lot of information about what is definitely worth seeing in the area. Carola and Peter helped us in the preparation with arranging various items that made our holiday run smoothly, such as transfer from and to the airport and renting a car. Beautiful guesthouse with great garden in quiet surroundings. Unbelievably great lodge, with a lot of attention to detail, friendly hosts and a great location in the mountain shadow and only 10 minutes to Gordons Bay.Unfortunately, we were only there for one day, next time will be more time scheduled.

My husband 64 and I 55 spent one night here at the end of November 2017. We felt very comfortable. Very nice, clean room, delicious breakfast. Navi did not find the address. Entrance via Schell petrol station. Very nice hosts we will gladly come again.
