BREAKFAST at the glorious CAPE GRACE HOTEL is the definition of FOOD GALORE. It is a must do in Cape Town. If you have never tried it, you have not really experienced the true meaning of a Full English Breakfast. The view of the yacht marina while enjoying the food makes the whole experience unique and unforgettable. 5 star hotel without question! The staffs are so welcoming, they deliver a world class service. I will definitely make it a regular breakfast escape. Special mention to Mr. Kevin who made our experience fantastic.

My wife arranged for high tea at the Cape Grace Hotel as a Birthday treat. We are travelling as Backpackers in South Africa for eight weeks so are carrying the minimum of amount of clothes so we thought our T shirts shorts and crocks may possibly be out of place in such a nice hotel. Far from it we were given a most warm welcome and shown to our table overlooking the harbour with a smile. The high tea was lovely an assortment of savouries, finger sandwiches, savoury scones with grated cheese and of course the mandatory fresh scones strawberry jam and thick cream. There were plenty of other sweet delicacies too. We started with a glass of fizz with the savouries then moved to the black tea which was served in a glass teapot with a glass tea strainer to hold the thickly cut tea leaves. The teapot stood on a glass base which was warmed by a burning candle. The whole ritual of making the tea was a joy to behold, lovely. We whiled away two hours eating, drinking and watching the boats and wildlife on the water. All in all a great Birthday treat. And thank you to all the pleasant and friendly staff for making it an afternoon to remember. Thank you all.

I would like to move in here!!!! Cape Grace is absolutely fantastic. I stayed here for 4 days and everything was above and beyond. I was in the 4th floor penthouse which is massive. It is beautifully decorated. It has a huge sitting area, table, 2 bathrooms, large bedroom and a massive walk in closet. It was clean and quiet in my room. The porch has a jacuzzi, some lounge chairs and another table. It faces the water way and wharf area. You can get nice sunset views! The staff all go above and beyond to make sure your stay is great. They are all friendly and everyone greets you as you walk around the hotel. I ate the breakfast everyday which was a delicious selection of pastries, yogurts, cereals, fruits etc. along with a hot menu which I tried the flap jacks (twice they were so good!) and the steak and eggs also excellent!! I would highly highly recommend the Cape Grace when staying in Cape Town!

A favourite spot for brunch/high-tea.The Signal restaurant is a beautifully decorated part of an already impressive hotel and the food is excellent. Would highly recommend high-tea or brunch (anything with a wider selection / buffet) as the variety & quality of food is something to see.The Bascule bar is also an excellent bar with great tapas and drinks, set overlooking the stunning marina just behind the hotel. A great spot for evening drinks or a sugary treat.

After reading several reviews we settled for afternoon tea here at the Cape grace hotel and we were not disappointed. There were lovely comfortable couches with nice views of the harbour. Once upon a time, we were regulars in the Library, also known as the lounge. They had an amazing Scones with 11 accompaniments collection. And great service, great location, and great food. Weve also been lucky enough to eat in their restaurant, go to the Bascule Bar that has the biggest collection of Whiskeys weve ever seen, and many years ago they had a special, and although we live in Cape Town, we spent a most wonderful night at the hotel. The only hotel Ive ever stayed at, where the parking attendant, called me by name.

Cape Grace Hotel - an absolutely lovely and old school iconic hotel situated in the harbor & flanked by water on both sides. It has everything - a fabulous lobby, water front seats, high-end dining, pool side seats, a spa and more.I stayed for 4 nights in collaboration with Hills of Africa Travel and it was the perfect spot.My room was on the 2nd floor facing Table Mountain & Signal Hill - just that view alone was worth the stay. Both of those natural wonders were a delight to behold throughout the day. The room had a small Juliet balcony & French doors that opened to the harborMy room was very spacious and I like that there was a separate closet/dressing area as well as a very room bathroom that included a shower AND a super fabulous tub.The spa area is small but very nice with a lovely quiet sitting area & great views of the harbor. I had a great massage - definitely worth it to schedule one after touring around Cape Town.We dined on the patio as well in the lower bar off the restaurant - it feels like being in the lower level of a ship. A great way to decompress. The wine selection is extensive and Ardiel took great care of us.Overall - a classic hotel with top notch service
