Stayed for two days and enjoyed my time. It is safe, neat (clean) and there is hot water for showers :) It does not get too noisy at night and there is a bar area outside and a pool. Excellent location on the main road, a walking distance from beach and V&A Waterfront. Book now and enjoy.

A lovely Hostel with very friendly employes. The rooms are nice and it has a bar, a pool and a BBQ Grill as well. There is a supermarket and Restaurants just a couple minutes of walking nearby. You can reach the V+A or the city center in 20 Minutes walking. Highly recommend

A legendary cozy hostel. Feels like youre in paradise the moment you enter with an extremely homely warm vibe. Kelly and the staff there are so friendly and only want to make you feel at home. Right between the city and Sea Point it is an amazing location plus being super close to the Spar and UL. Highly recommend this hostel and Ive been to a few around CT!

Upon asking them to waver cancellation fee for booking, no response for 2 days, then receive a call to ask where am I and that they havent received any messages from booking.com or me even though I called them 2 days priorThe lady on the phone was rude to me and wanted to cut me off, I had to call back just to explain that I did call through and spoke to someone earlier that week and wanted to provide the date and time. The minute I returned her call she wanted to assist another customer and not attend to the call she first initiated seconds ago to confirm with me. I find that very rude.

My stay was terrible. Very rude staff. They think they own this backpacker. Kitchen always filthy. The wifi was okay. The location was amazing , but the bed bugs terrible. Please work on the staff. And last Im have chest problems and the smoke going up the stairs into the the living room/kitchen was terrible. Ashley please work your staff. They do heavy heavy drugs. Check everywhere for that. Please if you are not into loud music every day and night Sunflower is not for you. Thank you please work on your staff

Beautiful backpacker hostel that serves free breakfast or rather say included in your accommodation costs. Their bedding were remarkably clean and that made it easy for me to be able to sleep in a comfortable bedding.The rooms are regularly checked by the cleaners and tidy things up in the room. And the hygienic level of the general backpacker was to my satisfaction.Would definitely come back again.

You could not believe its a hostel, the facility and friendly staff made our stay of 10 days wonderful. The wifi was a bit weak in our room but across the property strong. Best value for money with good access to public transportation.

My friends and I really enjoyed our time here. we spent most of our time outside exploring but it was a nice place to come back to. the breakfast was reasonable and the staff was very friendly!

Im from the Chicago land area in the u.s. So I expect a nice friendly place to stay while Im on vacation. A sunflower stop is that with a side of fries! The staff is amazing and the friendly. The rooms a Caribbean style with a great location to match. I recommend this to anyone who is from America or another English speaking country and has never been to South Africa

I absolutely loved this place!Definitely one of the coolest places to stay in Cape Town, I had so much fun and Id recommend it to any one.The vibe is welcoming and charming, which has a lot to do with the people who run the place. Theyre more like friends than anything else, youre definitely missing out if you havent visited yet.

It was great but during our stay we had 3 people budging into our room, 1 thought it was a toilet, 1 was a cleaner who didnt even apologize and the other was Management.. Made us wonder what happens when we go out🤔. But it was good

I dont even think this place deserve a star at all, Im very disappointed with the place as we were given dorm rooms even worse we had to share with 3 other strangers. We dont feel safe at all, we felt like someone would come into the room and something. We couldnt even feel like staying here for the rest of out trip. We were told we need to wash our cups after drinking tea, had to share showers and toilets with males. We are not happy at all.

Near V&a waterfront. Near Hill bus stop; no 108, 109, 114 to Sea point. The facilities are superb. The room is clean and large space for 6 people to feel comfortable.

I spent a week at the Sunflower stop and simply loved it. Pleasant and friendly staff, nice atmosphere, reasonable rooms. My favourite part - the free coffee, the frienly staff, the fridge and self cooking facilities. Thanks for a great sray!

The place is not nice at all....what I saw in the page its not what I found when I got there. They are doing false advertisement. We couldnt sleep there we had to look for another place

Love this hostel. Very cosy, in centre of everything and every place. Walking distance to V&A waterfront. Pretty basic really. Beds nice and clean. If you looking for good value for money and lots of socialising then this is the place. Staff helpful especially the guy at the bar.

One of the reasons that we chose this hostel was because It was written in booking that there was a parking. When we arrived, It was told that the parking was the sidewalk in front of the hostel and they assured It was secure. Somebody stole all wheelcaps from our rented car and others just in front the hostel.The breakfast is poor. We also found a cockroach in our Room. The kitchen is a mess with the lack of water. Terrible.

This place is the best hostel Ive ever been to. I showed up at 4am knocked on the gate and a staff member told me that my reservation wasnt until that night but I could sleep under his bed. haha He had a bunkbed.The staff are extremely cool. Every night some of the staff would take us out to different bars in town that were having the best happy hours or events. Or we would hang around the pool and have a good time. They really make you feel like family and I still have multiple staff friends from here that Ive kept in touch with for over 5 years.Love this place!

Good location in Green Point: Five minutes walk from a KwikSpar, 20 minutes walk to the V&A Waterfront and MyCiti Hill bus stop virtually outside. Good size kitchen with plenty of fridge and storage space.

The matresses are horrible, a thin layer of foam. I couldnt sleep. My room had a window to the stairs, a little bit noisy. Facilities are not bad, but if you cant sleep, nothing else matters.
