I have had asthma all my life, and last night the ability to breathe was not in my corner. Having had little to no sleep I left to the Vanguard Community Health Centre with hopes of getting oxygen as its closest to home. The staff not only turned me away, but spoke to me in the most shocking tone. My pleas for medical attention was not met as all I received was narcissistic sarcasm; and honestly Ive never in my life experienced something so vicious. Whats even more appalling is having to know that only 50 people are tested for Covid-19 daily. Its strange, a medical facility not able to accommodate more than 50 people. It is sickening knowing this is happening in a country where the government believes to be top-notch. What a sack of bull.

The service delivery is poor with a waiting time of 2hours before you are attended too by medical personnel,I would never go there again.

Diagnosed my mother totally wrong and almost died of there incompetents, no regard for human life!

Short staffed and hard working, midwives.

The hospital serves for both Bonteheuwel and Langa residents. The government needs to look effective ways how they can assist patients. Patients are waiting for hours to be assisted.The conditionsfor both patients and employees need a major upgrade. Security must be more tighter.

My dad was rushed to this clinic on the 11th of November 2019.security would not let the vehicle in to take him to emergency. He had to walk in and a few minutes later he passed away. This is extremely unacceptable.

This community health centre services both Bonteheuwel and Langa. The facility was supposed to be state of the art, but reflects the state of SAs health care nation wide. Very poor. The facility caters to the poor and needy and the service is matching. Queues are so long patients must arrive at the facility as early as 5am for services.

Because it is a government hospital, the doctors at the emergency ward act like they are entitled to be rude and arrogant towards patients who ask too many questions about their treatment.

Its always busy there, but the stuff do their best.

Poor service levels, long waits overcrowded.
