Just to thank your team for constant fast turn-around on claims pay-outs. I have been paid again within 3 days of claim submission. I am with Alphen Vet and all claims were paid within maximum 4 working days. I have come to the conclusion claims pay-outs are a function strongly of the fast turn-around of your website electronic uploads system (done while I am in the vets parking lot after fetching my dog).This system certainly streamline things for your team - it allows me to upload my invoice and claim in real time and I receive an automated receipt of claim instantaneously. Take a bow, all of you! 6 Boxer dogs in, I remain a happy customer 2010 to 2021 and forevermore!

Weve had Medipet insurance from the first time we took our boerboel puppy to the vet for vaccination. During the years Medipet had been excellent! What an amazing experience! I submitted my claims and received payment within 4 days - no questions asked. Unfortunately I lost my beloved Grizzly due to cancer, but the Medipet Team was ready to assist and were so sympathetic. They updated my policy and replied immediately to all my queries and offered their condolences. And to honour my dog, they asked me for a photo to include her in their Remembrance Album. Ive had an amazing experience with Medipet thus far. Theyve paid out the majority of my claims with no questions asked and, where there have been issues, they have been really helpful and responsive in dealing with them. There is a lot of warmth and sincerity to their service delivery which, frankly, for an insurance company is rare to non-existent. I truly feel that they care about me and my fur children and will go to great lengths to make sure our interests are looked after.

Fantastic service and fast responseI have only received outstanding service from Medipet!A few years ago I submitted a claim beyond the claim period with an explanation and they paid my claim in full!This morning I sent them an email explaining my situation:I only learned yesterday that my dog, who has been living with my parents, died in February. They didnt want to tell me, because they knew how upset I would be, so I kept on paying premiums. Medipet agreed to refund me the 3 extra premiums.Also, I assume because of the lockdown, we have not received a bill from the vet yet. It is now beyond the 6 weeks claim period. I have been a Medipet member for the past 10 years and I have always had great service form them. My Golden Retriever is now 10 years old and has a touch of arthritis. My vet recommended a session of physio for her. I completed the claim form online, submitted it and much to my surprise I received a full refund - no questions asked. Medipet rocks. It may not be the cheapest but in my opinion its the best.

I am super happy with Medipet - my first time having a pet on medical aid, and it just takes so much of the stress out of making costly medical decisions. They are good about paying (provided you follow the rules), the online claim submission system is easy to use, and their email contact following a claim and on reimbursement is prompt and friendly.As an avid dog agility enthusiast, it would be extremely tough to have to decline treatment that will allow our dog to continue with a sport she and I both love, not to mention the impact on our family life, with her no longer being able to enjoy being active with us. I have always had extremely helpful and friendly interactions with everyone at MediPet and they are on the ball with regard to claims. My little one had to have Cruciate Ligament Surgery recently and not only did Medipet Cover a huge amount of that cost, but they handled the claim really quickly, considering it was sent in on Christmas Eve. Thanks to Liezl and Kerry for their assistance.

My Labrador Elsa has been insured with Medipet since 2016. I have never made a claim but have now been informed that the excess will be increased to 25%. As a pensioner who has not claimed to date I feel this is a little unfair. I pay a monthly fee of over R300 per month which amounts to more than R3600 plus per annum. Although the fee is not going to be increased the excess is which amounts to the same financial strain for elderly people like myself.
