For a small hardware store I am very happy with the service they provide. Thank you for all the paint advice and having the items I need to do small jobs at home. In a shopping center so clean toilets are available.

This is a local hardware store that have friendly staff that is always willing to help you and ensure you receive the right item for the job at hand. They have one amazing paint mixer which can match you old paint and give good advice on new colors too.

The owner of this Jacks treated me like I was an annoyance. I received comments such as, Oh no, not you again, and This is that finicky guy. All I wanted was great service, paint colours that match what I want, and it takes time with testers to get the right colours. Instead I felt like my business was not appreciated. I still need to paint the entire interior, exterior and roof of our 5 room house, and I will NOT be spending my time and money at Jacks Paint, Edgemead. I have decided to use Brights, Plattekloof where I get excellent service, better prices, and its closer to home. Ill never use Jacks again.

...Never ever not came away from here not getting what I wanted or needed, it been paint, nails, hose connections, screws, tap-washers and now they even sell plastic grass❗️Even when it was just some advice to solve a DIY problem ❗️The Owner didnt just want to sell me something but was happy to solve my problems even if he wasnt going to make a big fat profit, once the other hardware in the area quoted me a price of R100.00 + so I went to Jacks and the owner scratched around and found me a part that cost me R4.75 ❗️Now thats the kind of Businesses we need more of in and around our areas.......

Cheaper than builders wharehouse and friendlier.
