This is the real one-stop-shop when you think of hardware. Though the name makes you think only electrical, you get what youre looking in this place. Be it for woodworking, plumbing, mechanical or simply a barbecue.Some products were way too expensive than Builders Warehouse, but some where just affordable.For a better range of electrical products, I recommend Brights Hardware!

You know, its been four years that we have lived in Tableview and brights is my best place for finding the things that I need for fixing the house! The brights card and discounts help too ! (I have found they have better prices than the other hardware store too 😉)

Brights is the name and the atmosphere. I always get happy service and I dont have to go searching for assistance as there is always someone wanting to help me. Not only that but the prices are the best.

During my visit to this Brights store I met up with one of the staff, Nelson Martins, who really went out of his way to assist me in obtaining a specific electric fan that I was looking for. He actually stripped my exsisting old broken fan and showed me what was necessary to rebuild it. Excellent service from him and a beautiful well layed out hardware store! Well done!

Very well stocked and priced with most items cheaper than all other hardware stores. Customer service is exceptional as staff and management go out of their way to assist.

Everything in one place, but also every problem with their service that you can imagine.Dont bother them for cupboards, there is never someone available. Rather go to Brights Montague Park. The experience at Brights is just in another league and mostly less expensive.

Brights is very conveniently located close the the Plattekloof Road off-ramp on the N7 highway. Its well lit and well organised. They have a wide range of hardware at good prices and everywhere I went in store employees were at hand to help. I found what I needed and I was back on the highway in half an hour, with everything I needed for my project.

A great place with a wide selection of paint, lumber, tools, furniture, rope, doors, tables, etc. Their prices are fair on most items but can be expensive when buying furniture and doors. Their lumber can br a little low quality and sometimes overpriced. Their selection can run low at times and things may not be in stock. Their website doesnt operate that well and a phone call is always best to confirm in store stock. Most employees dont know exactly what theyre talking about and can be pretty useless at times, except to show you where the items are or get you a price. Great store overall and definitely worth going to for hobbyists and diy projects.

Im still very confused as to why this place has such a massive warehouse but dont even keep stock of simple globes for downlights. I hate it when we go there and they refer you to Plattekloof. I honestly will just be going directly to Plattekloof from now on.Jonathan is really helpful as always. Justvl not carrying stock in such a massive warehouse does not make sense. Yet a smaller shop down the road has more than enough stock. 🤷‍♂️

Brights is a bit far from home for me so not a place Ive been to previously for hardware, but today I decided to take the drive because the paint I wanted was well cheaper there than at my usual choice of hardware supplier.The service at Brights was excellent. Friendly staff willing to help and not rushing just to get it done.From the welcome with thermometer and sanitizer spritz to the paint counter to the building counter, everyone was friendly and helpful (but not annoyingly pushy!).Ill definitely be a return customer, no matter the extra distance.

This was only my second experience at the Montague Gardens store. All safety protocols are in place, and the staff, from entry to exit, were helpful. My better experience was with assistance in the irrigation department, where I needed help. Here, I met a young friendly chap who was very helpful, knowledgeable, and friendly. He quickly assisted me with my needs, and his communication was very enlightening.I can can strongly recommend Brights Montague Gardens to any DIY or professional person seeking assistance with their hardware needs.Oh! Friendly staff. I took back items three times and was refunded. Boughta a light and it was broken when we opened the box at home. They believed me and replaced both. I had to go to plattekloof branch to get replacement as they lacked stock. All in all a good experience. Retiled and painted and were given good and expert advice!

And if they dont have what you need they will go the extra mile to get the it at another branch.without extra cost. . just take for axesaple a 5 lts of Dulux rubul cost R 2250 at Builders warehouse ( the so called hardware that you can get all your hardware neads ) you can get the same Rubul for R1300 and only one axesaple .I left the one last 🌟 open for the next I pop in for the next sale . keep up with the good service and we will go a long way
