Excellent service. Great find for when you need a 9kg gas refill. I had tried another store who couldnt help me with the make of cylinder I had, but Kismet told me they keep 3 different makes. Their prices were competitive too.

Best little hardware store in the suburbs; I have trusted these guys for decades with motor spares & hardware !I went to have keys cut, but they showed me that my ignition lock was worn & how to get the keys that I already have, to work the best that they can.Full marks for not getting to get me to buy more keys for a work lock ! Always give free advice that works.

They have everything but are rather pricey compared to other local hardware companies, and best of all they DO close for lunch on a Saturday? I will only go here if I need something that other hardware stores dont have, im disappointed that they close for lunch on a Saturday when they have so much staff, surely they can let the staff take lunch in smaller groups over the lunch period and stay open instead, was weird being in the shop and getting told that they are closing for lunch now.

Im biased - known this shop for many years and the homely friendly environment will bring you back. Unsung heritage spot, sporting diversity as can only be found in Cape Town. 5 stars would be unfair, depending on your perspective. A respectable 4 stars should keep everyone happy then.

This hardware store has most things the DIY guy needs to build/repair a house. Electrical equipment to cement. Paint, sandpaper, hose pipes, clamps, pool fittings, taps and fittings etc its there. Give them a call to see if they stock what you need. Theyre also open till 7pm which helps if you have an emergency. Staff are friendly as well. Been frequenting this gem for almost 40 years.
