All covid protocols are followed, all stylists are experienced professionals and very averse with their products and promote service excellence. 1 Feb 2020: Today I had a Velvet oil treatment done, when i arrived at the Salon loadshedding was in progress. A pedicure was done and when i went for a massage the lady told me that it was not done properly and she said she would re do it which i appreciated but then the lady that dis the pedicure phoned and shouted and screamed like a mad thing she didnt do it half etc i contacted the head office they said they would get back to me which of course they NEVER DID!!!!! they ignored my messages after the 1 mail totally i WILL NEVER USE THESE PEOPLE EVER AGAIN !!!

I have been going here for the last two and a half years. I drive all the way from Gordons Bay to Game N1 City to have my hair done.Not only are they extremely professional but have amazing talent. So this is my third time attending at this hairdresser when you desperately need some good hair TLC. Absolutely impressed. Staff is very welcoming and professional and your the outcome of your hair-do after one of the staff has attended to it is simply excellent. Out of all my three times coming to this hairdresser, I always walked out feeling and looking beautiful with hair being a total slay! I went for a wash n blow today knowing that it would be almost impossible to blow my side hair because I used to have it shaved but decided to let it grow because I want a new hairstyle. I was however pleasantly surprised with the outcome of my hair. I simply LOVE & appreciate people who has a passion for what they do. Sherry did my hair and she did an amazing job! She had the tools (small brushes) to blow my very short sides without burning me whilst blowing doing it! The ABSOLUTE BEST part for me about Sherry is her attitude. She has a gentle approach and is very friendly. I met her for the first time today but I’ll definitely be going back to Sunflower hair & beauty salon especially in my transition from short to long hair😅

I take my kids for their haircuts to this salon. I have to say with my 3 year old boy you never know what mood to expect. The staff is always so welcoming and gives great service. Very patient and friendly and definitely affordable.

I made an appointment on the 24th June for my son as he will be starting school soon. I was very comfortable and at ease with the set up of the plastic boards for social distancing, temperature being taken and recorded in the register for every person entering the salon, hand sanitizes at the front door, the staff working with their masks on and they sanitized the complete area before my child sat in that seat.... also the staff inside reminded each other to sanitise when they came from outside smoke breaks so that was terrific as I can understand its a real different process to get used to... ask me.... our work is very strict.. so I was quite observant but only because Im used to the regulations by now. So well done to Sunflower salon for adhering and making me as a customer as well as my child feel safe during this time......Thankyou Mishka for being so hands on with your prompt responce for appointments and thankyou to the staff as well on their excellent customer service....My son waited almost 3 months to only have uncle Barney cut and style his hair...lolZaida Ismail

I visited salon today 1 Dec 19 with my daughter as it was her first haircut and was quite happy with service and friendliness of staff. However what has put me off completely is that so much Brazilians was being done and all the fumes in the place was unbearable. I want to return but this condition is not good for clients and def not good for young kids ans i hope you guys will look into it. And get the get the extracting fan... Shame even for the staff working there as this cant be healthyThank you to Rashida for excellent service.

Hi I didnt have an appointment on this morning (Sunday 22/092019) and i went to the N1 City branch as they just about opened, i asked Barny if he could accommodate me at such short notice...i was courteous and extremely professional and i was immediately seen to,whisked to the hand basin where Nicky made sure i was comfortable at the basin and proceeding to shampoo my hair and what a pleasant experience it was to sit back and relax, oh did i mention the head massage ,faboosh Nicky and she is only here for the day,stunning staff all friendly and willing to go that extra mile,my hair is looking fab will definitely do another only if Nicky is available, keep moving and thank you for the absolutely best hair service,.

Not the fanciest of places but the products used are good. Nothing in watered down all my Brazilians done here last over 4 months and I wash my hair alot! My botox done here even lasted 5 months... if you want a good job on your hair without the frills..you have come to the right place...they affordable with good results.

What can I say I only went ones to A hairsalon many years ago not Sunflower but A hairsalon and never again due to not so a nice experience it really put me off and never did I set my mind to go back at any hairsalon. But until I went to Sunflower hairsalon on the 30th of November 2019 the Saturday and it wasnt even plan. Miskah the manager really made me feel special and gave good advice on what will work for my hair. I walk out very happy cause my appointment is set for the next day 1st of December. I couldnt wait to go. I came there miskah wasnt there but she already told on stylist to do my hair. Then rasieda came and said she will do my hair for me. Took me from the door to another amazing lady who wash my hair taking at the end before leaving the hairsalon lots of pictures of my hair wow That made me feel even more special. Coming back to Rashida she did a wonderful job on my hair take her time she is very friendly but let me tell you all of Sunflower staff are amazing. Rasieda treated all her clients with a gold glove but all of them are like that wow I felt really special like a royal queen. Rasieda took that bad experience I had away from me, inside my heart I cry of joy and couldnt tell her that moment of time what she did to my fear. I did I karatin treatment with a colour for my hair. Rasieda again suggested what color will look nice for I had alot of grey hair in front and in the middle. She trim my hair and layer it out. When all was done she flat iron my hair. I thought OK its just straight like I do my hair but she gave me a more surprise look by curling my layer out hair. I didnt know until she brought me the mirror but wow I didnt recognize myself. I was over the moon and stars to put it in that way. All of the staff was so happy for me. Without me asking the lady that do the washing hair took lots of pictures sorry my friend I forgot to ask your name. They really transformed my whole hair and not just that my bad experience in the past was gone. People no matter what type of hair u may have these stylist really know to turn u into a queen. I want u all to go to this hairsalon in N1 city Sunflower next to Game u will not be disappointed. People I see complain of the smoke on the blow dry of the treatments but stop that your hair came out outstanding they treat us like queens they know your worth.thank u rasieda u made my day and thank you for the lady that wash my hair. As I walked into the salon, the lady who is at the reception touched my hair which was tied up and said your hair is dry and broken off, you need to use this Keratin treatment. I felt offended because first of all, I have keratin at home and Ive BEEN using it so my hair isnt dry! It was however broken a bit because I always tie my hair up and not down. I didnt like the fact that she was trying to make me spend more than I planned to. Anyway. The person who did my hair was a guy but also a gyal if you know what I mean. She did an excellent job. Also told me in between you should do Brazilian, it would make your hair grow and stay thinner longer instead of relaxer which was good advice but dont tell me what to do with my hair. Anyway. I was very happy with my hair and Id defs go back.
