Im actually a regular...While sitting getting a cut, I see a promotion advertising a cut, conditioner and head massage for R250..... Great I think! Ive been wanting a head massage whole week.....I let the stylist know Id like the promotion. The stylist sells me up for an oil treatment instead of the conditioner in promo for R370....I think, okay cool.... R120 difference to the promo but I get a better treatment, not really needing it I think lets do it support local businesses after lockdown..Long story- short, I was charged R620... I was given the idea that the promo would be upsized to R370 while it wasnt the case... I was charged R250 for the promo and additional R370.. In most cases I would refuse to pay, but given economic circumstances I let it slide .....Either way, bad communication from the Stylist whixh left a sour taste

PROS:Friendly staff and lively atmosphere.Can always rely on DUNCAN to get a fresh and neat haircut.They offer a good selection of cold drinks.Always keen to help, even last minute.RECOMMENDATIONS:Post-cut head massage could be better and a bit longer.A good coffee machine will be a big plus.Overall a good place to go for a cut :)

Visited twice in September and had the Father and Son special. Staff were Friendly. All Covid 19 safety measures are enforced, social distancing practised. All round very pleasant experience.

Great hairdresser, provides excellent service. Staff are welcoming and helpful, has a relatively small stock of hair-care products for sale although the treatments they offer are still top-notch as far as mens hairdressers go. Would definitely come back for my next cut.

Read the other reviews, perhaps they were having an off day. The stylist opened with You know your hair is thinning, right?. YesIm aware. Your point?Explained what I wanted very clearly. She asked what clipper length I wanted on the sides. I said I dont know, a 1?. No! she said, proceeding to tell me all the reasons why this was the wrong choice. So rather than asking and then negating, maybe consider make a suggestion to a client instead? At this point I was not enjoying the experience. The stylist was not openly rude, but she seemed disinterested and annoyed that I was there. As I suspected the cut wasnt going to go well, I reiterated what I wanted. I.e. that Im trying the grow out the length on the sides and just needed a cleanup around the edges. She promptly proceeded to shave my sides short. The actual cut lasted maybe 5 minutes, for which I paid R251. She then tried to sell me R1400 in hairloss products.The cut was now over and she walked out of the shop while I got out of the chair, collected my things and paid. As I turned to leave, she walked back in, looking straight ahead and made a quiet comment to the receptionist who laughed.I couldnt tell you what the stylists name is because she never introduced herself.Decide for yourself if youd like to go or not. According to the reviews, you might get a great cut. You might.

Walked in. Hair stylists seems very disinterested. I showed her a picture on my phone of myself with a hairstyle i had before (just to show length and style it was a simple hairstyle) she sounded annoyed and disinterested and ooh i cant see sir..... and it was a clear picture. Sorry if you dont want to work there or have your relationship problems then take a walk. Paid in the R200 to R300 range for a lame 5 minute haircut. I went elsewhere to complete it. Didnt even bother with the stylist. Ill never come back to this place.

Been there twice, the first time the guy sliced my neck and still demanded that I pay. The second time I had to return to ask for a touch up on what was an incomplete haircut.Highly recommend you stay away

I went in as a first time customer and took the R199 opening special wash,cut,massageWash was great!cut was not so good the stylist was not attentive to what my needs are and the whole cut was very rushed and careless.I had to stop her when she felt that she was done as the stylist did not care enough to actually blend in my hair or even ask me if iam happy with the cut she kept on persisting that i should do a cut iam not happy with .No real interaction during the time spend with her .The massage was so short and rushed.My feedback is only due to what i have expienced at other establishments that charge even less R120 and offer a better service by interacting with customers and really being friendly and attentive.They also offer additional attention by offering free eye brow and other grooming.In addition to this they offer a beverage like coffe or tea or juice that makes you feel comfortable and relaxed.Please note this is simply my point of view and my constructive criticism.
