Eileen is FANTASTIC. I will not be going to anyone else ever again. I went in to cut my longish hair short and was nervous but she nailed it!! She pays special attention to detail and really makes you feel looked after. The head massage was also super great and the staff are very friendly. No need to go anywhere else.

The lady who washed my hair scrubbed my head way too hard and she broke alot of my hair when she brushed it.The hair dresser cut my hair fine but when I asked him to curl my hair I left the salon with half of my hair curled and half of it straightened. I will not be returning to Style Bar Cape Gate.

Marika is the only person I trust to do my hair. She can mix colour codes that no other styler can. She is a professional with colouring, styling, cutting and just about anything else there is to hair. Wonderful and friendly service with a cup (or 3) of coffee or tea. Such a relaxing head massage with each wash. I would say that they are professional hair dressers and massagers.

Ive been going to Style Bar Cape Gate for more than 5years. Everyone is always friendly and helpful. Rochelle, my hairdresser is brilliant and I always look and feel fabulous when I walk out there.

The receptionist was RUDE. Will never support this place again. My disabled went here once and enjoyed the experience. Today however, I was bluntly told their book is full without even offering an alternate date. All while the receptionist (who was young enough to be my daughter) showed her disapproval as if I was something the cat dragged in. Never judge a book by its cover my dear. You might look tired and run down too after raising two disabled kids.

Oh my gosh it almost felt as if my head was going to explode please try to massage and wash a persons hair a bit softer, very very rough...actually had a big headache after. For a first time customer i will not come again because i asked the person making a booking to do something else with my hair so when i asked for a few highlights the person doing my hair had excuses seems like they do not like their job, you get such an unwanted feeling and blowdrying my hair hurt loads aswell...plus the owner gives me her email so i reply and that is where it stays.....

The shop has no atmosphere.If you are wanting to relax and chill out while having your hair done this is not the place.Cold atmosphere. The prices are Ok. Does not make you feel special. Stylist are fair.

The lady who did my hair was amazing, she left me alone when I didnt want to chat, she was friendly, curtious to all the clients and did a really great job with my colour. I love it. HOWEVER, the lady who works/ assist with root colour and does the basin treatment was another story. I always love the basin treatment, but today, here, was horrible. She was hurting me, pulling my hair, the way she works is harsh and abbrasive. I was nearly in tears. To top it off, she and her hands smelled of cigarette smoke as she obviously smoked just before tending to me. It was quite nauseating. Gratefully the basin head massage was quite good and long, however I was dreading that my hair would smell like her smokey hands. They were a bit pricy though. Service prior when making the booking was quick efficient.

Good salon. Good staff, trained well and know what their doing. A bit on the expensive side but overall good. They sell their own products aswell.

Ive had nothing but amazing service from Style Bar Cape Gate! I had a peach balayage done by Chamoné and I got so many compliments! The staff are friendly, the stylists know exactly what style, cut, and colour you want, and all the people Ive told to visit the salon have been very happy with their results as well.

I was the nightmare blue hair customer. To make a long story short, after a really bad hair colour experience in PE yesterday and having to drive to CT for a day I got an appointment with Eileen. With not much hope of saving my long hair or getting any normal colour back. Walked in earlier for appointment from desperation and got instant service. Eileen got to work and fixed my Avatar blue hair to a colour that I can live with. Thank you Eileen. You saved the day and I was able to enjoy some hours in CT with hubby and daughter without a paper bag on my head.

We want to thanc Style Bar in Cape Gate for the professional way they treated a blind client. The barber (Lozelle) did a great job and the client (Carlo) is very happy. Keep up the good work.

Sent my wife for a cut and a brazillian blow out. Costed R1900 and after 4 days her hair started frizzing... Absolutely shocking! Went to them today to show them but they not very friendly.. Not sure what they going to do but we expect a full refund to go to another place.

Thank you for saving my daughter hare after it became tangled to the extreme. All the other places wanted to cut, but you were willing to spent a hour untangling it.

Well received. Rochelle asked nicely and listened to my explanation of what I wanted. She confirmed she understood. However, she did not style my hair the way I wanted it. It looks pretty but its not what I wanted. It was disppointing because she cut it as she liked it and not what I asked for. The time to explain was a waste. What I wanted was maybe drilling, but thats what I wanted. She said I could come back in the week but I prefer not to go. I dont trust her to listen and my hair is too short to fix.
