I am normally so happy with my sons haircuts at kidstation he has very curly hair and normally we go to his regular hairdresser Candice which always gives us the required end result. Today we had a new lady cut his hair that did not quite give the same style or as picture shown. I asked for short on sides and then to blend the longer hair on top with the short sides her short cut was too high and now we sit with long hair on top and very short sides no blend.

Amazing staff, they were so amazing with my son who went for his first haircut. He even got a certificate of bravery. No tears, quick and efficient and even some tips on how to handle his curly hair. Highly recommended!!! (Before and after photos)

Cool experience for first haircur

My son likes to pick a DVD to watch, while they cut his hair but the player doesnt always work. The straps on the chair wasnt tied properly at one appointment and he fell out of the chair. Its more kid friendly than other barbers, it helps when they are small and scared of getting a haircut.

Wonderful and friendly service

It is most certainly the perfect place for children. Which as their name suggests is the main focus of their business model. They make the hair salon a most enjoyable experience tailored to children and have ample seating so parents dont feel left out of the experience and can be close by. My son had a ball there and had a handsome hairstyle at a reasonable price to boot. Visit again? You bet!

All the stylists are so patient and professional with the little ones. They get to choose their own movie to watch whilst their hair is getting cut and get spoilt with a sweetie afterwards. Excellent service everytime.

By far the worst haircut I ever expected. The website hype drew me to it. I took my son for his first haircut today and they did not do what I wanted nor what they promised. They gave a dry cut, too short, and did not style his hair. I left very dissatisfied and the stylist Mariska is not a hairstylist and after her mistakes tried to correct it which made it WORSE, she had a bad attitude and did not give my son the haircut I wanted but went with her own ideas and all I paid for was a certificate and a bag of hair for R170. They promise on their website a fruity wash (didnt happen) Cut, I could have done it at home, but they seem to be over selling themselves. I have to now go to another barber to fix her mess which will cost me more money! Terrible experience!!!!More of a playground, than a hair salon!Wont be back ever.No stars if I could.

Went 3 times and all 3 times my child’s haircut was a disaster. I understand he is a baby and it is difficult but why specialise in kids hair when you don’t have the skills and patience to do it.

My son is 8years old now and took my son since he was 3. And believe me when I say they truly have patience with difficult kids. They entertain them with a movie, bubbles or any toy of their choosing and dont feel bad when he or she throws the inevitable tantrum its NORMAL lol. I recommend them any given day.

Very expensive for kids hair,especially boys and babies hair cuts. Lienkie is amazing and cuts very well. Always happy, friendly and is great with the kids. Management increased the price 4 times within a 2 year period. No difference in price if its just a trim, even for babies under one year,

Lientjie is just the best, my son has been going to her since 2yrs old, he is now 5 amd will not go to any other hairdresser. All the staff are very friendly and accommodating

This shop is excellent for small kids having their 1st hair cut or pretty much until they are about 5 and unable to sit still. They have a large variety of dvds the kids can watch to distract them and the hairdressers are great with kids and do great haircuts

My daughter attended a rock star birthday party at the venue. The girls had their nails painted, their hairstyles done to look like rock stars and the make up to match. They had a rockstar kareoke and photo booth fun.My daughter thoroughly enjoyed it. While the kids had their fun, the moms had time to relax and catch up.

Was there this afternoon to have my girls hair trimmed. The owner Latasha couldnt rush the stylist enough to get done, so she can fit more clients in. Questioning the stylist while busy with a client is very unprofessional. I was told that a wash was included but when arrived at the salon was told that a wash would be extra.

Pricey. Your own, local hairdresser will most probably cut your childs hair for much cheaper with equal skill. But if your kid insists on watching 15 minutes of a movie of their choice on their own personal TV screen in a salon decorated solely with kids in mind, by all means worth it.

My son wouldnt have it any other way. Only at KidStation. The lady who does his hair always gets it right. The place is beautifully decorated, making both kids and parents feel at ease. The staff are friendly and very patient with the kiddies.

They have a gate at the entrance that ensure you little ons does not escape. Price is acceptable.
