If youre in the area and looking for a quick cut - then Id highly recommend visiting this salon. They are nestled in the Upper Eastside building which is very secure and welcoming. The stylists are efficient, professional and really friendly. I went in for a mens haircut and my hair was done within 25 minutes (and it looks amazing!). Will definitely be going back in the near future.

We have been going to Mijey for years for our haircuts and being from Korea, she knows exactly how to cut our very straight Asian hair. Mijeys salon is very clean and she keeps to COVID protocols, to the point where she even gives you a disposal mask if the one you came in with is not haircut friendly. The salon is situated inside the Double Tree hotel in Salt River. There is parking inside and if you are having a treatment, Mijey will give you a parking voucher.

Hair by MIJEY is by far one of the best hairdressers in the city. MIJEY is the only Asian hairdresser I know of in Cape Town and I have never been disappointed. The space is small and you often need to book in advance for an appointment. The way she cuts and styles gives your hair a natural movement and flow when it falls. I have spent time living in Asia and got used to having my hair cut and styled by Asians. Thus, MIJEY was my saving grace when I moved back to South Africa.

One of the very few locations that has an asian hairdresser.Parking is quite difficult in this area so youll have to park further down the road near main road.Mijey is super friendly and gets the job done quickly. Mens wash and cut took around 20 minutes in total. Prices are really good.The staff is very attentive and makes sure you feel comfortable.Definite recommend.
