Chandre was my hairstylist and is the first person that was able to get the orange/brassy undertone out of my hair. Everyone was amazing and treated my like (and everyone else) as if they were the most important person there.It was incredible and I cannot wait to go back there just for the experience alone (obliviously the super stylish hair is a plus) :)

I couldnt be happier with how my hair turned out! Cindy did an absolutely amazing and professional job! She took her time to make sure my hair was absolutely perfect and she was super sweet, friendly and accommodating. While sitting around for 5 hours waiting for my hair to do its thing, I saw that there are a lot of other talented professionals that work at Edge as well, but Cindy definitely stood out. My hair is a dream come true!

Didnt have the best experience. I came in wanting to dye my virgin black/brown hair to a specific shade of blonde but she didnt give me the colour I wanted. After all the hours spent all I got was damaged hair and a burnt scalp.Not to mention the lady sitting next to me was also having a horrific experience. She asked for brown/blonde highlights and they came out looking grey. Poor woman walked out crying.

10/10 experience at EDGE today. Not only was the service excellent but the staff were so friendly and the atmosphere was amazing. I booked with Nizaam recently and will definitely be going back. I left the salon and realized that I didnt like something about the colour, I quickly called Terry, the manager and she said I could come back and have it toned down. I went back to Edge that same afternoon, they sorted it out for me and gave me a complimentary hair treatment. I left the salon as a super happy customer! Terry is amazing and Nizaam styled my hair really nice, the best so far compared to other places that Ive been to. Nizaam is very kind and informative with regards to any questions I had about products and services at Edge.The only reason that im giving it one star less is that when I went for a consult earlier in the week I was quoted R1750 (cut, colour, wash&blow, moisture treatment- bear in mind my hair is quite long) and on the day I was charged around R2300. Nizaam informed me on the day of my hair treatment that it would be a bit more and I said its fine as I wanted the colour that I chose and to get that colour it required a bit more work. I didnt mind but I think the consult should be done with a bit more accuracy in future.Nonetheless- I had a great experience, the salon is clean and tidy, the staff is amazing, extremely friendly! I bought some hair products from the great selection that they have and I cant wait to try it out.Thank you Nizaam and Terry :)
