The staff are incredible! The trainers are so patient and kind, Ive been enjoying this gym from day 1. Theyre well priced too. Machines and equipment are sanitized continuously, making the experience safer.

I live very close to two prominent gyms in the Parklands area, however 15 to 20 min away to Ignite gym in Milnerton is worth it. Large floor space and different types of weights all over. Even a dedicated boxing area for those who are keen in boxing. Staff are also friendly and very helpful.

Great welcoming and overview of gym by Tazim. The receptionist are very polite too.

Ignite fitness is the best gym to be I must say I really love it

I was given 6months free gym membership without being told i have free 6 months after covid. My contract is and would of expired in lockdown and they stopped the debit order on my account last year. This year they started deducting money of my account telling me my contract is still on going and I owe them money. No one told me when the gyms opened up that I free 6 months gym membership. If you go on hello peter you will see I am not the only one with this issue now.. I WILL ADVISE ANYONE TO STAY FAR AWAY FROM THEM.

Dont join this gym, joining can be a good idea. However they will not give you a copy of your contract and theur customer service is also bad.

Great gym, trainers give personal attention when taking the classes, its awesome that your kids can go with & play making any time a good time to train. Lots of machinery so you never have to wait, & also multiple weight areas. The reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is that there is no sauna which would have made it perfect!

We want to commend and show appreciation to Carlos for immediately spotting, from far accross the floor, when I went down in the floor with an epileptic aura. He just seems to be everywhere at all times and have been the only trainer to correct technique and form of exercises.

Avoid. Trialed once when they first opened, cancelled within the first 5 days, have been battling with them for 4 months trying to get them to stop the debit order and credit my account again. Would not recommend this place at all.

Absolutely love this gym. Have been a member for 6 months now. Always clean and the instructors are helpful. I especially enjoy the Zumba class at 11 on Saturday, Sofire by far the best and makes his class incredibly fun for everyone! 10/10 recommend that class.Only downside is that theres no steam room or sauna and sometimes it takes a bit too long to fix out of order/broken machinery, which isnt a big bother as theres always plenty other similar and available equipment. Overall super happy

Excellent service...

I initially came with my friend to check out the gym. The gym itself is really clean and has a good atmosphere. Theres music to get you pumped up and classes happening around the gym which means you have no excuse not to join in and get decent 30 minute cardio/ bodyweight workout. Trainers are walking around ready to help. Theres cardio machines, weightlifting machines and a kickboxing area. Im impressed. However, I am left with a bitter taste in my mouth as well. My consultant, Joshua, seemed alright at first. He showed me around the gym. I had asked him a basic question out of curiosity and he replied in a condescending manner. Perhaps because I am younger than him or didnt look intimidating, he thought he could treat me more like a friend and be impolite if he wanted. He was incredibly adament on getting my to sign up for a membership which I found annoying. I understand that his job may be to get as many clients in as possible, but the way in which it was pushed towards me felt so unprofessional. I appeared to be positive about signing up the next day just so Joshua could get off my back. He had asked for my number so that he could message me regarding the membership. I got a message the next day to confirm if I would be coming through to sign up. As nice as the gym is, it is a bit pricey for me at the moment. I also wanted to check out other gyms and their membership offers before being set on one. I let Joshua know that. He sends me voice notes asking me what had happened since I sounded so keen about joining.. all of this said in an impolite tone which i find disrespectful towards a potential customer. In another voice note, he talked down about other gyms such as Zone Fitness and Virgin Active and why they arent better than Ignite Fitness. I kindly declined and said that if anything does change, I would contact Ignite Fitness. But by my initial experience with them already, I would not like to return. I understand that the consultants job is to bring more clients in but the way in which I was treated was disrespectful and unprofessional. Its one thing to be friendly and courteously persuade a customer into buying a product or service. Its another to treat a customer impolitely as if you were doing them a huge favour for free. Im appalled by the treatment I got. What a shame.

I was promised that I would get 1 month free by the consultant Joshua after my son joined the gym but after 3 months I had to find out myself with the gyms admin department that this is not the case and false advertising by the consultant Joshua. I wonder how many other consultants pulled the same move for new clients to join. I am not very impressed and Lerisse in the admin dept could not do anything either after she promised to call me back which was not done after 2 weeks of waiting for a reply as she said that she would speak to management. I think management dont have their ducks in row and so is the maintenance of the machines as I personally witnessed a machine fall down on a member and some machines remain inactive for months. I am definitely considering of moving to Virgin Active at renewal time. From a very disgruntled and unimpressed member!

Required the consumer protectors help at getting a refund from these idiots for their illegal debit orders. Gym contract terminated during cooling-off period due to several issues experienced during first few days there that made us question the quality of the gym and its customer service. Smooth talkers like Chantelle and Eduan that are quick to get you to sign up but follow up on any issues is painstakingly slow and customer service is basically non-existent.

I have been a member at this gym for almost 3 months now and have thoroughly enjoyed my time training here. The staff are extremely friendly and often go out of their way to assist where possible! There are various fitness class (HIIT, Aerobics, Spinning) as well as Muay Thai/Boxing - So there is something for everyone. My only piece of criticism is that the equipment/machines be maintained more regularly to ensure that everything works at its optimum. I understand that some of the machines require spare parts from abroad but these should be readily available in order to have machines fixed when need be. Overall it is a great gym and would recommend it. PS There is also a great Café on site serving up wholesome goodness!

Daylight robbery.We asked for a one year contract. We were told it would end at the end of October and we told them it would. Then they took out money for the month after the contract has ended.Bad customer service.Empty gym for a reason.Do not sign up here! It is not worth it
