Ignite in Claremont has great choice of equipment and training areas. The bathrooms are always clean and the staff are friendly. Also more cost effective pricing than other mainstream gyms.The Staff are friendly, polite, make you feel welcome and always positive, without being intrusive on the gym floor.. Motivates you to keep coming back.

Friendly staff, nice music, weights and machines galore, No need to have to unnecessarily have to share weights or machines when in between sets.

This is a great gym, staff are friendly and outgoing. Service at the desk was quick.Its not full during the week and its really clean. Equipment gets sanitized between uses and there are social distance precautions in place.The bathrooms are 100% spotless with working appliances.I would highly recommend going here. There was no faults.

Terrible communication. Was only told about the joining fee as I was about to sign up.And dont expect any help from Head Office, 2 emails were ignored and calls to the number on the website doesnt connect .Although the price is decent for the facilities provided, I strongly recommend that you DONT sign up at Ignite Claremont. Any issue you have will probably not be answered.

Poor administration personal and customer service. My experince with gym has just been tumultuous from an delayed opening of the gym, months of poor/lack communication, never recieving a contract, to being debited the wrong amount for several months. The gym is well stock in equipment and has great trainers. But not worth the experince due to exteremley poor business practice and customer service.

The equipment is top notch. Very neat and tidy experience overall.

Great training facility. Love the Arena products they have. If you havent tried it, pop in and see some of the trendiest workouts.

Its a very different fell compared to the cliché gyms. Its dim lights with great loud music. Change rooms are modern. Its do cool.

Was lured in to signing a misleading contract and was never given a copy of said contract. They opened months after they said they would with terrible communication to members, simply offering drinks evenings as some pathetic compensation. My partner spent hours on the phone to the gym and the head office requesting a copy of my contract which they failed to find for two days. Absolutely shocking customer service, unnecessarily rude and hostile. I’m still trying to get out of this contract. Due to never having received a copy of the contract I did not know about the five day out clause and on day 7 they will not let me out. This is an appalling establishment and I HIGHLY recommend not joining.

Compared to other gyms, its top notch even though it doesnt have a swimming pool. Price wise its moderately cheap. You get what you pay for and then some. Very helpful staff, instructors will answer questions youd have about exercise and your body without being too biased, they will teach you safe methods in order for you not to injure yourself while you exercise, they also offer free body assessments. The atmosphere the gym has is incredible and the lights all around the gym can really change your mood. There are many equipment available so that everyone can do something even during heaviest of peak times. The classes offered are serious in trying to help you achieve your goals so long as you choose the right class for said goals. They will demonstrate before how to do the exercises, so that you dont have to feel silly doing it wrong (dont worry about feeling silly, more than enough people will get it wrong the 1st time but thats part of learning)... Give it a try, you wont regret.

High staff turnover, signed into a misleading contract special before the gym had opened which was never honored, the opening of the gym was also delayed by months with poor communication to members. I highly recommend reconsidering before entering into an agreement with this gym.

Excellent gym

I am utterly disappointed at the service myself and my husband received. We signed up for a platinum membership and was debited twice in a span of two weeks. I waited for more than three weeks for the welcome pack and when it finally arrived there was no contact.

My son put down the deposit of R100 and decided not to take the package. He asked for a refund of the R100 and 12 working days later has still not been refunded. As a father to have your son experience this will teach him how some businesses are truly untrustworthy.

Poor organisation, lack of communicating the delay of opening, all around awful experience. Didnt receive deposit either.
