Just spent a magical night at Residence William French guesthouse. What a fantastic experience and the perfect antidote to covid-19. From the 3 tiered cake stand groaning with delicious French pastries for our afternoon tea to our luxurious sea view room everything was superb. That evening William cooked us a sublime three course meal which was really the highlight of our stay. William is a warm and generous host with excellent attention to detail. Treat yourself and book a night or two with a special person you wont be disappointed.

My wife and I stayed at Tintswalo at Boulders in January 2020 and were lucky enough to reserve a spot for dinner at William French’s. The food was amazing and the experience overall was one of the highlights of our honeymoon!

Hands downs the best experience my wife and I have ever had at a guest house/bed & breakfast/inn anywhere. Beautiful and spotless home with a fantastically welcoming and helpful staff and two little friendly dogs. Breakfast was outstanding. We were upgraded at no charge since a better room was available. We’d be back in a heartbeat.

One of the best guest houses weve ever stayed at. Stay for the in house cooked dinner, it was absolutely amazing. Freshly cooked by William along with helpful staff. Lovely rooms and living area. Overall a great experience! We had our honeymoon here and it was just perfect. The rooms are impeccable, the interior design, size and layout was just perfect. The guesthouse staff was so helpful and welcoming... But the best was the breakfast, wow wow wow!

I want to come back as soon as possibleUnbelievable stay and if we come to South Africa again we will definitely stay there our whole trip. It was perfect.

Absolutely wonderful - weve stayed at many B&Bs around the world, but this must be rated amongst the very best. The hosts are charming, the rooms very well appointed and the breakfast simply amazing. We will definitely return one day and would recommend this to anybody who is thinking of spending a night in Simons Town.

Warm welcome from the owner and each room tastefully and decorated differently. Every room has a tough of something special. Special mention must be made of the Nespresso machine in each room as well as the generous amount of home made shortbread biscuits.....wow.

The best place we have stayed along the garden route. This place is absolutely amazing as well as the homemade breakfast. I would love to come back.

Fabulous little boutique hotel, approx 1 hour from Cape Town, with large spacious nicely decorated rooms, some with stunning sea views. Offers amazing homecooked 3 course dinner, at restaurant standard.
