I truly enjoyed my shopping experienc at this store, very neat and tidy with a refreshing array of products.

I came from work. I am a,widower and really just felt like a nice fresh KFC take away. When I got home it was disgusting. Chicken was not crisp it was watery and not crisp or cooked. There were around 15 chips also soft and undercooked. The whole meal was unpleasant. Even the coleslaw was overdone with too much sauce. A dreadful experience

We used to negotiate in our house because we both despised grocery shopping... until we started going to this OK. Although it’s a rather small store with a somewhat limited range, the staff are always nice and it’s just an overall pleasant shopping experience. The guy that greets everyone at the front door is the friendliest person I’ve ever met and always brightens our day. We always walk out in the best mood after grocery shopping now.

Good morning...I was at OK Foods Strand yesterday after church.Round about 12:00pm.George at the door Sanitizing our hands, is always friendly and make sure our trolley or basket is sanitized. Thats Great, That gives us comfort to shop.So the place was very full of patrons. I understand that its monthend, But there was no Social Distancing.When I was in the Queue, As we approached the cashier. The more I try to make the gap 1.5m from the couple behind me.The more they came and stood on us.I then ask the lady if she wont mind, Im a high risk, with Diabetes, Hypertension and cholesterol, Plus Im still recovering from my stroke last year.If I get Covid, only prayer can save me.The ladies husband response was. JinneAnd then she replied in a language not suitable for a lady.Im F... Rude. I dont have to be sarcastic? Wow....No Lady, you were just supposed to follow the guidelines. Then I wouldnt have to ask. Im not supposed to tell you whats happening in world.Because the people are not following Social Distancing and wearing masks. That is the reason why we have been put back on level 4. We can blame the government until we Blue in our faces. But none of us practice the basics....To get two my question, where I gave them a 2 star rating.Where was the manager that was supposed to be on the floor. Making sure the people social distance?

What a pity. Used to order pancakes from the Pancake Paradise stall outside, do my shopping at OK and collect them on the way out. Will have to do my shopping elsewhere from now on...

I wish there was the option to give a black star for the review. For the 3 years we have lived in George Street we absolutely loved our local OK store. They had great food and friendly staff. When the change in ownership came we were excited at first and thought this OK will only get better. Well, slowly changes were made that left a sour taste in our mouth. Today we learned that OK has told Lanie, the pancake lady, that she may no longer sell pancakes outside their entrance (which she has done for the last 10 years). Im absolutely disgusted by OK and will no longer support their business and rather drive all the way to OK in Gordons Bay for my groceries. OK Strand has disappointed the community of Strand and have show that a crucial time (with covid hitting many families) they rather want to make an extra buck for themselves.

The in-house bread, the paninis and the Black Forest cake are a must try. Etienne, the new owner has re-defined “Customer Service” and thrives on keeping customers happy. His attitude and demeanor certainly reflects on the rest of the staff. Ilhaam, the Store Manager, assisted me on a few occasions and she always came through with flying colors. Yep, Customer Service is alive and kicking in this part of the land. What a joy to shop at Ok Foods Strand!
