I played here with my Club Royal Glen Golf Club it was the 1st club game for 2021, we were just over 60 strong and were starting off both tees.The course is wll maintained with the greens a bit dry making it fast, fairways are clear of debris and brown at places but mostly green like fairways mostly are.The starters were efficient as there were multiple clubs hosting games on the day, covid protocols were in place with all players complying.The staff in both the halfway house and bar were on the ball and super friendly making one feel right at home.Sandwiches, cool drinks pies hot chips but to name a few were on the menu. Our game went off without a hitch, no long waits and the spirits of all players were pleasant.So go ahead and book a game it is one of the great courses in Cape Town.

We had a great round at Durbanville! The course is in impeccable condition and the greens, perfect. Its a challenging course that is just that bit forgiving; perfect for a high handicapper like myself. The clubhouse is furnished with modern, trendy pieces and the menu at the halfway house offers enough variety to satisfy any palate. We finished too late to enjoy a cold one at the bar, but Im saving that for next time. Ill definitely be returning, and Ill ensure that I secure an early tee off so that I can enjoy the 19th hole!

Probably the most unfriendly course I have played at. Field was filled with 2 balls and caddie master kept comming round to rush us in the most rude manner because of a full field. To make matters worse, we were frequently waiting on tee boxes.Course is good, but apart from that everything is rather bad

Excellent experience the course is in good condition and the club house renovations is brilliant. Staff is super friendly and entertaining.

Ive only been here to have a bite to eat. Counter staff always friendly & helpful. The kitchen has delicious game pies @ R40, with chips for only R18 for 2 decent size portions.There is a beautiful canopied, outside area where U can sit, chill, eat & have drinks. You can view parts of the golf course from this vantage point & watch golfers in action!Theres a big hall / conference venue for hire in the upstairs section, with gorgeous views over the golf course.

I played with this crew from Namibia (see pics). The course was beautiful and well looked after - with evidence of less rain in the Cape during the visit. Course is not that challenging to walk, but tricky in a way. The greens were splendidly gorgeous to putt, the fairways are wide open and have few OUB. To book was not easy due to high levels of demand, so you have to be early in the week.

Lovely course and really great pizza but save it for the 19th hole as this is a walk-through halfway house as we discovered when one of the regulars started screaming at us.His panties were thoroughly soaked by the time we calmed him down and let his four ball pass.

Seriously classy for a sports club. Lovely members lounge with bar and wrap around balcony. Very large function room, gorgeous views, large stage, which is great for live music and shows, excellent acoustics, and ample security parking.

Stunning fairways and excellent greens on every hole.. Course are in excellent shape and well stocked restaurant and Pro Shop with very friendly and helpful staff. A must visit for Golfers

Relaxed, friendly and fun place to spend the day with family or friends. The golf is just a bonus. If you havent visited before, please make the time to do it. Its not called The Jewel of the North for nothing.

The Jewel of the North lived up to its name. Great layout and superb customer service makes this a must for any golfer looking for a 5 star experience but with a local feel and atmosphere.

Great staff and service.

They have had a lovely make over, a refreshing one at best. It makes so much sense since the bottom floor looks clean and neat, spacious, visually open to whats happening inside and out. The view is spectacular looking out onto rolling green lawns and trees, a large mountain range that turns pink when the sun goes down. Light fills the place, making for happy golfers. The pizza oven, with its aroma calls all to eat and warm the tummy. There is a full bar at your service. It has the potential as it has everything to be considered as another function room at night, when the golfers have left the floor.

So overpriced. I understand your response to my comment on your pricing but you charged me R425 for a late Sunday 9 holes at your club yet paid I R380 for 18 holes at Stellenbosch. Something to keep in mind - visitors are potential members, depending on how you treat them.

Upmarket, well run venue with usual identities of a golf club. They also have a range of facilities for group meetings, meals and refreshments. Well maintained and a pleasure to visit Durbanville Golf Club!

The club is awesome! No doubt about that, however Im a runner and we make use of the club/bar facilities after our the club runs in the evening. Unfortunately some of us struggle to get assistance with one of the bar tenders on the top floor. We either get ignored from the beginning or we get ignored half way through service.We unfortunately had to go to the downstairs bar for assistance tonight after our run as we got ignored from the bar tender once more.I just dont understand what makes us different to the rest of the people? I know we are a bit sweaty and hot, however it gives the bar tender no reason to ignore you for service.This is not the first time and I believe it wont be the last either.Honestly we havent been rude once and were always patient, however this is just getting a bit frustrating now and we have member cards as well, so we are no strangers to the place as this is where a few of us get together to enjoy a drink after our runs.Anyhoo, love what has been done to the downstairs area. Awesome look and good food as well, specially the pizzas.

Beautiful place. Love the open course less chance to lose your ball. Renovating at the moment but staff and grounds are amazing.

Major work being done to the clubhouse so not all facilities available at present. The course is in great condition, very green and lush. The greens are playing very nicely.

Good golf club with very fair green fees. Excellent condition, fair but challenging layout and now rated in the top 100 courses in SA. Good bar prices. Halfway house could use a bit more of a selection and the showers need an upgrade. But otherwise a very good club and well worth a visit.

The staff were very accommodating even with loadshedding and the course was in great condition, only negative, the bunkers were exceptionally hard.

I was pleasantly surprised by the beauty of the golf course, it made me want to take up golf! The green fields, the friendly staff offering to help me get to my friends via a golf cart. The club was also lovely with many different waiting areas, bar and seated areas. A well equipped venue.

Notwithstanding my game - I certainly enjoy this course. The staff is courteous and fun and the course is in good nick. Now - if only they could dial down the wind....

The Clubhouse is stylish and food great, good service. Music events Ok but would like some different artists playing. Someone more modern with music that will get everyone on their feet dancing.

Always very nice, if not for a woman with an attitude telling us when we want to hire a gholf cart once on our lives, that its not difficult to walk the gholf course and I can do it (I have walked this gholf course many times before). I was not impressed.

A great meeting venue - can accommodate over 100 people, with really good Audio Visual. Also, the catering has always been good.

Amazing course. Just hosted a gold day at this venue and the staff bent over backwards to assist and ensure that our every wish was granted!
