From the phone call to request a quote for windows and clearview bars, through installation and to correspondence for balance of payment, the team at Glassmen were superb. This is not the first time we have dealt with them and the service is of a consistently high standard. The team that worked on my elderly mother in laws home was courteous and patient and made sure she was comfortable with them working from room to room. We had a similar experience at my home and would not hesitate to recommend Glassmen.

After contacting them 3 times on various occasions to get a quote or to follow up, I still have not received a thing. They are all very friendly and willing to help, but when it comes to getting back to you, I am afraid the service is non-existent.

Poor service and they dont answer their phone. Typical south African businesses that complain they dont stand a chance of making it yet they dont even answer the phone

Fantastic service. The guys visited my house for a free quote on replacing my glass door and installing a dog flap. They gave me a great price and did a brilliant job with the installation. Recommending to friends.

Fast friendly professional service took 10 minutes to cut a to cut a frosted toilet window and in the time was give advice how to do so...awesome stuff

Great for...when the kids knock out a window or if like me, You wash the glass out of the window frame and need to replace it before your husband get home.

Virtually anything in glass/ mirrors .What impressed me was the versatile help that was offered to me. Not only a better way to do my job, but a cheaper way too !

Unbelievably poor service. It has taken over 3 months for me to have any response from them on a quotation requested. When it finally came through after numerous phone calls, it had nothing to do do with the job required. Another 6 weeks down the line and there is still no answer to my query re the incorrect information. I suggest that customers requiring attention search the number of other glass companies in the vicinity and give Glassmen Retreat a miss.

Absolutely useless. No one ever gets back to you. I paid the deposit and have waited two weeks and still waiting for them to call me. It took two weeks to just get a quote back, in which I had to constantly phone to follow up.

Called to get a quote and was told that a rep would come the following day and quote. The next day came and went and no sign of the rep. Called to find out what happened only to have the rep answer and clearly the message had not been passed on. He apologized and said he would sort it out. Rep came and said he would mail the quote. That was 10 days ago and nothing - useless, useless, useless!

Use them because they close,I just do basic stuff. .but having to call to see if there is srock and been reasured there is by managment. and told I should come into make an order rather then email order and eft then finding out theres no stock once I get there....is a waste of my time.girl at desk was helpful though.
