Excellent service received form Doctor Bandeker, Quick and efficient. He is very knowledgeable and definitely recommend him to others. He displays a huge concern to patients well being and also healing. I loved the experience and would definitely do it again.

3 December i was rushed to the trauma unit in the Melomed Gatesville hospital because this is the only hospital prescribed by discovery medical aid where I can go based on my plan. Arriving at the hospital I was in so much pain that I was put on a morphine drip. The hospital then called my medical aid for authorisation and after scans and scopes and theater I was admitted to hospital where Dr banderker came to see me and advised what the next procedure would be and to have my gall bladder removed. The morphine I was on made me even more ill drowsy nausea was horrible. During this time the girls apparently from doctors room brought me papers to sign and because I was drowsy from the morphine they explained verbally what I was signing and advised Dr banderker is not prescribed medical doctor by discovery but because my situation is an emergency they will cover it. So I trust these people with my life Im also trusting them with the documents Im signing. 19 March I go through another ordeal, a call from doctor banderker accountant I owe them R21k. I am shocked..... What how when please explain I ask the lady, the medical aid declined to pay because he is not prescribed medical doctor by discovery. 1. Dont trust anyone from doctors rooms to get you to sign when you medicated and unable to read fine prints. Their word means NOTHING. 2. medical aid advised that when the hospital called for authorisation they told the hospital this Dr banderker is not prescribed doctor by medical aid and will not be covered. 3. Why did the hospital manager Dr Nasiem still assign me to doctors banderker when he was aware of the medical aid authorisation feedback. So after many and numerous calls and emails to the hospital and Dr banderker asking why I was assigned and that a prescribed doctor by discovery was available why was I assigned to Dr banderker and Im still not get any reply from the hospital or the doctor. Only feedback is from the accountant wanting to know when I am going to pay.. FINALLY REPLIES ***** LATEST UPDATE ***** DR BANDERKER REFUSES TO COMPLY WITH THE MEDICAL AID SUGGESTION TO CALL AND SAYS HE PREFERS TO HAND ME OVER TO HIS LAWYERS. HE IS DEFINITELY NOT IN THE PROFESSION TO SAVE LIVES BUT TO FILL HIS POCKETS. AND THE HOSPITAL 3 MONTHS LATER ALSO REFUSES TO ANSWER THE QUESTIONS.

He is not the best i agree with Belinda, only in it for the money. A year later my mom is still not well and yet we sitting with a bill of R30k for a pensioner. She has been paying this for nearly 2 years with no feedback, nothing.

He is very good and exceeds the best.
