Utterly Dismissive and IneptDISGUSTING treatment. From the irresponsible, hairbrained, arrogant receptionist to the Dr himself who NEVER shows up to appointments at prearranged time. Always a last minute call/ text to reschedule. Theatre patients, and other appointments were deemed more important than my frivolous IBS case. I emailed, called, emailed again when my symptoms suddenly got worse. Each time the morally bankrupt receptionist dismissed me with a curt, I passed on your message. Dr is busy. Finally I addressed my email to his highness himself, he replied immediately with an apology - he claimed that he received none of my messages. Wonderful administration doc. Eventually when I did have a consult, he was rude and flippant about the facts:1. I was on his treatment for a year with ZERO improvement.2. He spoke to me about next steps and completely forgot about my chronic meds. READ the patient file doctor!3. His responses, well you cant expect a cure.Theres nothing else I can suggest. To be crystal clear I never expected a cure for a chronic illness. Im not completely ignorant despite my lack of a medical degree. What I DO expect however is for timely follow-ups by the doctor Im PAYING to HELP me. I DO expect some improvement in my condition. Not, just take the Bascopan like smarties. Keep it in your handbag. The dietician he referred me to was a joke. All in all, a year of expensive, INEFFECTIVE frustrating treatment only to be put BACK on the same meds the referring GP prescribed.Save your money and nerves. If youve got an unimportant, petty ailment like mine was clearly deemed to be by this man, and his amnesiac receptionist, STICK WITH A GP.
