Delorice & Vernon Daniels wish to thank Fern Funeral Staff for their compassionate and efficient handling of the funeral of Mrs Selina Johannessen who was buried on the 7th January 2017.The building and interior of the business in Industry Way, Retreat is neat and gives you the feeling that this is where we want to be. We were greeted by a lady called Samantha, and from the very offset we felt at ease. She handled everything so well that we knew we could leave everything in her care. She showed us what leaflets she has and we chose one and gave her the hymns etc. which we wanted printed on the leaflet. We did not realise we had not given her a thank you note and poem for the back of the leaflet, but when the leaflet was given to us on the morning of the funeral, she had used her own initiative and found a very appropriate poem and thanks and had it included on the leaflet.The gentleman who drove the hearse was also polite and professional. We arranged for him to be at the church at 08h15, but when we arrived at 08h00, he was already waiting for us. He did not rush away like some funeral services do, but stayed for the service.We will definately recommend Fern Funerals to anybody who is in need of compassionate, professional and very reasonably priced care.Well done Fern Funerals.Vernon Daniels
