Very efficient and well organised. Book an appointment online and make sure you have all the correct paperwork and everything will go very smoothly and quickly. The staff are friendly and helpful.

The security are very friendly. The people inside the building are just so nice. They will guide as to what to do.

I wish I knew the name of the lady I had my visa interview with. It turned out that I had completed an older version of the application form (a bit silly that it was still available online at the time) and instead of turning me away outright (she had every right to), she took the time to first make sure that all my other documentation was in order in case there were more problems. After making sure that they were fine, she helped me setup a new appointment and showed me exactly how the new one looks. Im really great full and appreciative of the kindness shown. Its almost time for the next appointment so I really hope everything goes smoothly (Im going over all my documents every night to be sure!)

Helpful and efficient with passport applications. Friendly staff. Website is very clear with requirements and if you follow instructions with documents exactly, the application process is very quick and easy.

Customer service is non-existent, very unpleasant ladies at the counter windows. Efficiency does not apply to this embassy. Telephones dont get answered. Had an appointment - sat for an hour waiting for my appointment because they were running late. Then to be turned away because I am submitting my visa TWO weeks to early. I have to make a new appointment, take more time off work, sit for another hour. Nowhere on the website does it say within 3 months of leaving. Employ South African please - service will improve, phones will be answered. Productivity will increase.

I was lucky enough to have very pleasant interactions. I didn’t wait a long time, I was assisted by a very helpful and kind women. I was made to feel very comfortable and not rushed. So far all of my interactions with all the staff have been pleasant

Been trying fot almost a year to get a new passport after it was stolen together with my briefcase while helping my 83 year old out the car. I have been given the constant run around. When I call no one answers the phone. I have sat with the phone ringing for 30 min and no answer. I travel a lot for my business and to change an appointment closer to the time is simply impossible, The appointments need to be made weeks in advance. The woman wotking there are not very helpful and generally quite rude.

Very poor service. Staff was very unfriendly and didnt seem to get our problem. I would say they were almost impolite. So if you need support of a consulate on Cape Town, find another one of a member of the EU.

Why would you stick a visa into the middle of the passport? 16 blank pages before, 18 blank pages after, every single person stamping from now on will now just skip those first 16 pages, and then in a year or two Ill be denied entry because You dont have enough blank pages at the end of your passport.

Disaster bad! Now the Visa office of the embassy has pulled the phone plug. Brief telephone inquiries are impossible. Hides behind flimsy blablabla. Since the worst of times is drudgery.

Signing up for a New Passport appointment is a joke. I did not know that you need luck. And that is closed on Wednesday even in the afternoon. Typical german service (not available)

Ridiculous service!The message is a construction site, the elevator does not work, the security staff is a joke, the entrance metal monitor is not used and the blond lady without a name badge from window 1 is hired to scare off people, not to help them. Embarrassing!
