The chips at West Coast Fisheries have improved.When the owner spent time supervising the chips were superb but unfortunately he cannot spend the whole day there.I think that the Supervisor should be more proactive in the kitchen & then maybe the quality will improve. Their Fish is tops though.

Ordered from here twice after recommendations but both instances we didnt enjoy the food at all. Batter was very thick and the oil tasted old

Ordered twice in one day because the food was that good. The prices are reasonable too.However, customer service was a bit of a let down, could greatly improve on how to talk to adults - as I was spoken down to as if I was a child when I took a seat in the diner without knowing that I had to purchase my food as a sit-down option and not as a takeaway!

Nothing special about the chip roll,no salad,tomatoe,onion just a bog standard chip roll, the biggest problem is just that this R40 chiproll is really a R28 chiproll everywhere else.

Dont worry about phoning in your order...were told it is going to take 20 minutes... got thete ... had to wait another 20 minutes....and this is not the 1st time this has happened

As always the freshest, tastiest fish you could have. Portions are also very generous and overall their menu is well priced.

One of my children doesnt eat onions and we specifically asked them to remove the onions from our order.....but when we got home you guessed it.....onions were in our food....thats why only 4 stars. Their food is excellent.

Great piece of fish. Best I have tasted in a long time.Unfortunately I was very upset with the chips . It tasted as if it was put in the oil twice.

Long wait of close to 30min for fish and chips. Mentioned to the cashier that it was a long wait and got a blank stare, no attempt at an apology. Used to be my go to place but wont be back if they dont care about customers.

Fresh middle cut hake the best if u dont mind the wait, however that used oil after taste leaves a bad memory. Value for money and friendly staff makes this place worthwhile. So just sort out the oil issue and 5 stars it is

Now this is what Im talkin about. The food is absolutely amazing and by far the best prices Ive seen in Cape Town. Portions are very generous and well worth the cost (attached pic is a half portion gatsby!). Serving is quick and staff seem knowledgeable. Not much of an atmosphere yet, but itll get there.

Had the best hake fillet and chips I had in a long time. Kids devoured theirs and they are super fussy. Double thumbs up

Im so happy that there is now a decent fish and chip shop in Milnerton. Their fish is always fresh and divine! Proper west coast hospitality. Service is top quality and super friendly. This has become our local fish shop for everyone in my family.

The fish and chips is great with large portion sizes. The fish is fresh and the chips are the perfect slap chips. They also serve a variety of other items on the menu. Their beef burgers are great, with a homemade patty and lovely fresh roll, its also a huge burger.

The staff are friendly. They are extremely busy on a Friday night. Your meal is prepared after the order is put through. There is +- 15 min wait. I ordered grilled hake & a mini chips, which was really enjoyable. The portion was good for me.

They are very slow. I ordered my food through a phone. I drove from my house to this place and waited more than 15 minutes. they have reduced the amount of chips in their food parcels.

The staff are very friendly and helpful, which is really nice. The food there isnt too bad either, Ive had their steak gatsby. Not bad at all, but then again Ive had some really good ones.With all said though, I wouldnt hesitate to drop by for food there again.

Other places in the area should just close their doors.Service is outstanding. Management & Staff are friendly. If you order grilled you get grilled fish to perfection.What else can I say!Go to West Coast Fisheries on Koeberg Road & experience it for yourself.

Very good quality fish and chips, well priced. Fish is very nice and crispy, not as soggy as some places fish and chips parcels can be.ALSO crazy enough one of the best beef burgers in Milnerton! Ribs are pretty dam good too.

Was told 3 times that the hake had no bones. Got home. Settled down to enjoy my supper and kept finding bones. When I phoned West Coast fisheries the gentleman should no concern about an unhappy customer

To sit down inside for a meal is not advised. They are not very geared for that even tho its available. Fish quality is poor, very slow service. You have to ask for everything, tomato sauce please (oh no we dont have) cutlery please (frown, why do you need that?) Etc

Bought myself a small chips and sat down at the table,when i started to eat a lady came out and told me that i am not allowed to eat of the take away box on the table.If i want to eat inside i should have asked for a plate.I had to take my food and eat in my car.They wont see me again.The chips was oily aswell

The first time we went there the service and food was excellent. However we went there the second time and they through vinegar on were as we ask them not to. They exchange it but what I encounter was that the manager at the back told his worker to throw from the chip of. This was an hake parcel
