Nicely fried fresh hake and chips and salads. My wife and I and 2 friends we dropped off parcels to really enjoyed it.

Was very happy with my meal, they make very good fish and chips and are up there with the other good fisheries in the area. The service is polite, food is freshly prepared and the portions are generous. They have really stepped up their game since my last visit as I think ownership changed. I will definitely return

Food is freshly cooked while you wait, or order via WhatsApp, which is a plus factor as it is not pre cooked & left to dry out.Snoek & chips are lovely. Havent tried anything else yet

Ordered a calamari and chip meal and received more chips than calamari.

The worst service. The first and the last time I go there. I ordered a small packet of chips waited 20 min eventually I asked for my money back.

Discovered this little place not too long ago I have not been disappointed as yet there is still room for a little improvement in comparison to other fish n chips shops the price range is a bit high but not much food is always fresh though. Love the various specials that they have on different days. Keep it up

Simply great fish and chips. Menu is huge. Quality is excellent. Massive piece of fish and huge portion of chips. Pricing is very cheap for the great quality you get. Will be back for more

Never disappointed

It has a great location for suburban Plumstead. It really fills a niche for those who do not want to cross over Victoria bridge and negotiate traffic and parking at Plumstead Fisheries. Having a local chippy is great. The quality, prices, and portion size are what one would expect. No complaints there. Parking is a little limited but its much quieter than the alternatives of Blue Wave or Plumstead Fisheries. Staff are professional and seem to deliver consistent portion sizes and quality. So if you like it you will probably keep on liking it. You can phone in orders. All orders are takeaway. There is no seat-and-eat option like at Blue Wave.

Nice enough for a quick take away. Good sized portions. Chips are quite oily, but the good kind of oily.

Terrible portion size, way over priced for whats offered. Undercooked calamari. Does not offer lemon or salt with order. This was my second and last time I will be going there.

Always have fish and calamari that is out of this world from CJs. I would highly recommend trying them.

We went there a about a month ago for the last time. We ordered fish and chips parcels as well as an extra large chips parcel. We were in shock at the amount of chips we received for R60! You could literally count it. Compared to the first few times we bought from them, totally ripped off. That is basically the amount for a pocket of potatoes.

When they opened, they sold beautiful pieces middlecut hake an snoek, today i went ter, beautiful crispy chips, a whole truck full, but ta middle cut hake was, very sad...looked like hake pieces, jus batter...no fish...wil not go ter again.
