I bought a family combo Hake and Fish, I was very disappointed when I get home only to see these chips, which looks like they have collected all the remains of the day and threw it my pack! I’ve attached the pictures.Hake was good and big portion as well.

Amazing food, friendly staff and really great experience. The fish always seems fresh and the staff are always on hand to help you with your order. I am definitely a regular here, no matter how far away I live.

It is a little cosy shop with friendly faces. Menus are placed at the entrance as well as inside.. Great food and fast preparation.. I really enjoyed the hake and calamari. Will definitely be visiting again soon

Very bad service. I ordered upfront, was told that the food would be ready in 20 min and arrived on time. To make a long story short, the staff refused to talk to the customers who all had to wait in the rain. My food took an hour and by that time I had already purchased food from the fish shop in Stellenberg. I experienced no effort from the staff/owner to help or service the small crowd of angry customers. No, rather get your food someware else. The service here is just terrible.

Ordered 350g Calamari. Paidthe full amount and when I got home the calamari with the packaging weighed 240g. Guess I will have to look for a new seafood takeaway restaurant.

I work around the corner and I literally have to stop myself from buying there. Their food is just so good i cant help myself, their service is amazing Ive never had to wait for my food.5 stars for the chip rolls, jalapeno poppers, the seafood stir fry and golly Im scared to try anything else or ill be spending my whole salary there.Absolutely AMAZING! Honestly cant fault anything that comes out those kitchens.And its always tidy and clean and inviting to walk into their shop.

Hake and chips are perfect! Chips well cooked and crisp. Calamari was a bit oily one time but I guess we all have an off day. Thoroughly recommend these guys. Polite and helpful service too.

We go there weekly and have no complaints. The portions are nice and big, prices reasonable and the quality superb.Our order usually takes about 15min.Sometimes they are really busy, so I think timing is crucial. We go odd times or call in advance.

Amazing fish and chips, grilled or fried, even lemon and herb and Cajun flavour! Lots of variety as well, they do veggies, rice and even chilli poppers!

My previous review- I gave 5/5. This time 1/5. Ordered 2x large hakes and calamari. According to menu 100g calamari. 1 portion 38g the other 47g. 4 overcooked strips. The hake was overcooked -oil clearly too hot. Calamari ordered 200g- portion size 200g but calamari was overcooked. All the fish was overdone and tasted burned. Chips was not crispy, overcooked. Oil is probably past its due date. Unfortunately no email address to contact owners with pictures. They lost a customer tonight. Cant stand inconsistencies like this. Very disappointed.
