I paid an online shop via PayFast for two items. The shop didnt deliver, didnt communicate and was all in all simply terrible. I contacted PayFast with a request to reverse the transaction. PayFast promptly replied that they cant reverse the transaction, but asked more details, and then contacted the shop on my behalf. The shop shipped the items the same day. I was really impressed by PayFasts assistance.

Have used Payfast on a few platforms, always straightforward and fast to process. Also, I use a scriptblocker on my browser. With Payfast you only have to allow 1 script and it works, other payment platforms need a whole list allowed.

There has been articles lately about many South Africans losing money with these pop up online stores, and the problem is these services providers aiding and abetting criminals. I got scammed by a company called Realible Store with major red flags and 1 star reviews, and the company processing their payment is Payfast. There is definitely something going on behind the scenes

Worst service ever! Payments are reversed without my consent, so called email that was sent to me to notify me cant be produced. Lost a huge contract because of money stuck in this account and cant be used to serve my clients. One out of 5 times they actually call you back, but still nothing gets resolved. Big mistake to choose this co as a paygate - HUGE !

EDIT: Changed review to one star.Virtually impossible to get any information out of them. They started off replying to my email queries which abruptly stopped mid-way before resolution thereof.Trying to follow up telephonically results in either my call being cut while being transferred to the correct person, or receiving a pre-recorded message basically saying no-one is at the office.Two stars may be too generous at this point.

Multiple attempted transactions over the weekend via Payfast Portal and money was deducted each time but no successful transaction. after whiche i logged a ticket via email. I called yesterday,tuesday, after not receiving any feedback.Spoke to a Lameez and she said she will get back to me. Its now wednesday and still nothing!!!!!
