So here’s an update on PayGate, instead of actually responding to my email, PayGate has decided to respond to all my reviews. This is beyond pathetic and lame PR. How are you blatantly ignoring email communication and refusing to take my calls yet you’re responding to all my online reviews. You have refuse to refund customers. In fact you are lying to customers and informing them that you have released the funds to us? Worry not, continue to provide me with more evidence.

We have used PayGate for our online store for about 5 years. At first we offered only card payments, and that seemed to present no issues. Then in late 2020 we added instant EFT and SnapScan payments to the site and quickly started experiencing problems.Every so often with those payment methods, customers will make payment but PayGate will show it hasnt gone through. This is terrible in terms of customer experience, as we have no idea the payment went through until the angry customer wants to know where their goods are and why we havent been in touch about their order.Dealing with the PayGate support team around this issue has been extremely frustrating. Service levels arent high, and it can be difficult to get hold of them. Very often they will insist there is no fault on their side despite mounting proof from all sides, until the point where it is undeniable. The issue is never fixed and it keeps happening.My latest interaction with support led me to leave this review, as it was truly awful. I experienced the support tech as disingenuous, evasive and condescending. I was given information which was clearly untrue, and to say that he mansplained would be an understatement.All in all, I am rating them two stars specifically due to the support interactions. Technical issues can happen and thats understandable, but proper handling of such cases is required to mitigate the impact to the client and their customers. I would have rated them one star, but to be fair the card payments seem to work fine.

I contacted the company and they took 2 days after 3 calls to them to send me a form. I then completed and submitted on the same day. One week later and despite promises of immediate action, there has been no positive response. No one has been answering the call at reception. If sales queries are so bad, I can only imagine what the customer service is like. Ive now submitted the form they required THREE times upon their request. Not a good start!

First I fill in the form, and they get back to me in a timely manner but then I try to reply but it gets blocked because their account is flagged fro spam. I phone to speak to Thandi which they said they will get back to me, 10 days later no email no phone call. I signed up with a different name and a different email and again I get a quick response, but it takes 9 days for Yazeed to get back to me with no help what so ever, I really think this is unprofessional because how do you speak to anyone with no help! Would not recommend at all -10/10

I have been a long standing customer of VSC then DPO (PayGate)took over...they told us we dont need to make any changes it is all under the same roofAll went well until last month when some browsers like Google Chrome change setting and ever since then many client that shop on our site dont receive OTP from the bank and the order automatically get cancelled.Ive been hours on the phone with DPO now they tell me they need to migrate all the VCS clients to PayGate (they fixed the problem for PayGate clients) but that takes time (something to do with batches no ETA )Im loosing more money now then during lockdown! my site credibility is damaged... they just dropped us!

We had reason recently to deal with the support team for DPO on the Paygate/VCS solution for MAGENTO2 and I have to say it is seldom that I get to work with a group of people who are so dedicated to helping their customers.Even with the dark cloud of load-shedding hanging over a lot of us development IT folk - these guys worked even to 1AM in the morning and got our issues resolved.We will use them again in a heartbeat!

PayGate has been truly amazing! they have been assisting myself and clients for a few years now! Their product offering and wide variety of payment solutions have assisted my clients from trading local to international. Support is a major concern and PayGate has proved themselves over and over again. Well done to the PayGate team, excellent work - keep it up.

WOW! I lost so much mony with Paygate... #PayGate was not working as it should, every day including today, I get rejected / failed payments from customers due to a PayGate error. Ive contact support so many times since 22/03 and from replay from Mr. Fakier: My apologies for the delay, Ive been on annual leave. Is it possible that the company operates on 1 person only? This is unacceptable. The problem still not solved

Support is very slow and emails take days to be answered. There is obviously no triage done to determine urgency/priority because I sent them a mail yesterday to report that credit card payments fail on a clients website. And still no response. My previous experience with them was the same i.e. days to respond.

Not trustworthy. Had issues with them about an instant payment. Nobody on their part could tell me or the company I was buying from what exactly went wrong. Never apologised. Worthless service.

Very concerned about this provider of ecommerce, the system indicated the originating bank/merchant has declined your transaction - TWICE but the payment went through... not trustworthy!
