1. You can NEVER GET HOLD OF THEM, when you want to speak to them on the phone.2. You have no way of closing your account.3. if you do not use your credit, they remove it, and place it in a holding account (without your knowledge or permission) on the 15th of every month. You can only use this money IF YOU PHONE THEM and ask them to release it. Then they only release it for you for 2 days.4. Then the extra funds is placed in a holding account, and then your account is considered in arrears, and if you do not pay the full amount on in time, you are charged interest.5. I have reported them to the Credit Bureau, but nothing has been done about it. They seem to continue trading.I smell a rat.

CC is really not what they used to be. Bonus month is November. My bonus was never loaded and made available. This is NOT RIGHT. What is the use if a bonus if you cannot use it? To anyone thinking of joining CC - do not waste your time. They just get worse and worse every year. I will be cancelling my membership with them as will a lot of others I know for the same reason.

We have ended ou services with bsmart months ago, but the keep sending a statement and keep charging us.we try to contact them on the only nr available which keep ringing endlessly. A month later a new statement arrive plus interest and another fee added.another 3 calls, with a voicemail saying there message box is full.i cannot find any other contact details on their web

Been a member for several years and the fees and surcharges over the year end up being more than my reward at the end of the year, which means instead of saving money I am paying them to be a member. Unless you spend over R10k a month this program does not save you money. And now trying to get a hold of someone so I can cancel my subscription is impossible. Their call center just rings until it gets to an inbox that is full.

I have been on the programme for a number of years and semi-benefited from it. They have now introduced a monthly charge of R120. I can not see the value for it and have decided to leave the programme. It feels as if management are doing some sort of deals but there is no real innovation for the member.

My card was rejected by two shops although I am nowhere near my limit. I sent an email to BSmart two days ago enquiring as to why, and am still waiting for a response. I am also not able to sign in as a member because the site suddenly does not recognise me. What a pathetic example of customer service.

I email Bsmart (with reminders) to request what are the benefits as they are now charging R120,00 a month surcharge.... still no reply... and the say they are working from home --- not a good idea as it seems they are at home but not really working.

So they promise a nice bonus, what they dont tell you is that the surcharges that you pay upfront during the year form part of your make believe bonus. My real bonus (after taking into account the surcharges, admin fees card fees etc) for November 2018 bonus was effectively 0.6% of total spend (interest lost on surcharges not taken into account). Much better Loyalty schemes available than this one.

My husband and I have been members of Cape Consumers for more than 40 years. Our bonus at the end of the year was always something that gave us great pleasure! Not any more. We have now seen that our credit card is a more viable option as we can buy anywhere else and not only at shops that have Cape Consumers accounts. Lots of specials and discounts to be had all over Cape Town.

They are amazing and true to their word after just a few months I already received my first reward for shopping via them. Proving they are true to their word, The service is amazing, so glad I decided to follow my moms footsteps and get myself a membership as well. Thank you Bsmart.
