The Quenti Alpaca Farm is one of the most fun and informative day trips to make from Cape Town. Not only are the alpacas docile, friendly and incredibly cute, theyre also excellently cared for on a beautiful farm which prides itself on sustainable practices. The fleece is light, soft, incredibly warm and hypoallergenic, and is used to spin a variety of goods such as jerseys, blankets, scarfs, shawls, ponchos, socks and beanies. A definite must for family and friends.

Enjoyed the open day. I love the curious alpacas. The prices for the wool and woollen products were reasonable.Sadly the parking area was in a poor condition as few cars got stuck in the muddy ground. They should have planned better or at least warn the visitors. I was disappointed that they did not arrange a tour of the production of the wool/factory as advertised. But I will go back there again.

Drove all the way from Simons Town to visit the farm yesterday. On arrival, we pushed the call button at the gate without response. Then tried to phone the 021 landline number on the website but received the number you have dialled does not exist message. Tried the mobile number as found on the Facebook page - also no answer. Very dissapointing as we had our kids with us. Closest we got was watching the animals thru the fence. I suggest that the owners inform potential customers if the farm is not open. That includes using their Google and Facebook platforms.

Beautiful spot

Baie vriendelike en persoonlike diens deur die eienaars. Ons kinders is behoorlik onthaal deurdat hul varsgebakte plaaskoekies ontvang het wat deur die eienaar self gebak was (heeeerlik) en toe kon ons alles saam neem wat oorgebly het.Die kinders het die interaksie met die pragtige saggeaarde diere baie geniet. Beslis die moeite werd om te besoek.

Very qualified breeding, great products from our own spinning and weaving mill. Very nice people....
